This is the best subway in the area! The employees are so friendly and personable to the customers, and everyone loves Jan. The owner is also very nice. It's always clean and the food is consistently good. I enjoy going here.

I don’t know what ancient curse this Subway was built on, but it needs an exorcism.
First off, you walk in and the floor’s stickier than a toddler’s iPad. Every step felt like I was being challenged to a duel by molasses. One of the lights was flickering like a horror movie strobe effect. If I had epilepsy, I’d be dead.
I approach the counter. The “sandwich artist” looks like he just found out his dreams died in the walk-in freezer. No gloves, no eye contact, and a thousand-yard stare like he’s seen things. Terrible, bread-to-meat ratio — looked like someone tucked a single deli slice into a futon made of lettuce.
Asked for toasted. He said, “It already is,” then did not put it in the toaster. That’s not a vibe, that’s a felony.
Got the Italian BMT. B stands for barely, M for meat, T for trauma.
Tried to fill up a drink — soda machine had three flavors: carbonated sadness, water pretending to be root beer, and something that tasted like regret.
I sit down to eat, and what do I hear? Not music. Not ambiance. But someone in the back arguing with a raccoon. I wish I was kidding. Either that or it was a dude with bronchitis threatening the mayonnaise.
All this for $13.49. I left with indigestion and a deeper understanding of despair.
Never again. I’ll take my chances with a gas station burrito. At least it doesn’t lie.

Super helpful and pleasant. She had a great attitude. Food was good, service excellent. Can’t really say much about the atmosphere of a sandwich shop. This isn’t a nightclub!

We had an excellent experience at this Subway location tonight that truly stood out from the rest. From the moment we walked in, the cleanliness of the restaurant was immediately noticeable. The tables were spotless, the floors were well-maintained, and the overall environment felt welcoming and fresh. What made our visit extra special was the opportunity to speak directly with the owner, she was not only friendly and approachable but she was also clearly passionate about delivering top-notch service and quality to customers.
The service we received was impeccable, and when it came to crafting our subs, the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Unlike some locations that might hold back on toppings, this Subway was generous and accommodating when it came to adding extra ingredients. It was clear that customer satisfaction was a priority, and it made our meal all the more enjoyable.
Between the exceptional service, the clean and inviting atmosphere, and the personable interaction with the owner, this experience significantly exceeded our expectations. This visit reminded us of why Subway is such a popular choice for quick, customizable meals. We’ll definitely be coming back soon and would happily recommend this location to friends and family.

Best Subway in town! Always clean and very friendly service
They have only one worker for this store. Anna so busy, and first(she do orders) for all customers) and after delivery. I late my order for 15 minutes.

Dietary restrictions: We ordered a certain kind of bread because one of us can't eat the other kinds due to restrictions and they gave the wrong bread, If we didn't catch this mistake this could have been harmful.

So I ordered 3 sandwiches, 2 were fine but they used a different bread than requested:/ it of course was for the person in my group who has food restrictions. NOT COOL, THIS SUBWAY CONSTANTLY MESSES FOOD UP. From now following requests such as meat on the side, to dropping a cookie on the counter and trying to give it to me. And now this.

Sandwiches were great, service was friendly. My issue is I was charged a tip of $1.51. I used tap to pay and didn't select a tip amount. Sorry, I don't tip for counter service. So how did it get on there? Something isn't right, check your receipt before leaving for false charges.

She dropped my cookie on the counter and still gave it to me. Obviously that went in the trash:/ I wrote the only things i wanted changed on the napkin… but they gave me American instead of pepper jack and didnt toast it? and didnt even put the cheese on the second sandwich…

This is the only subway in my area 5355 Elkhorn blvd sac 95842 that is open early at 9am. I am so grateful thank you, they are always on top of there game. Fast with there orders.

When we are in a hurry, we don't normally consider Subway. But, my wife suggested calling ahead. And I thought it wouldn't work because of apps, online orders, door dash, etc ... Calling in would be a little risk for the business owner as we aren't prepaying. But, Adnan, the owner, answered the phone and was pleased to make our sandwiches. We weren't far and I was sure we would have to wait. But, as soon as we walked in, Adnan said with pride and a smile, "I Won!" It was like walking into Cheers with that welcoming greeting! So great!
This Subway isn't close to our house but I am going to go out of my way to come back. Adnan, thanks for making a welcoming, clean restaurant with good, healthy food and a friendly atmosphere!!
