The place was beautifully decorated. My friend and I came here post hike. The nigiri platter was beautifully put together. We loved the oysters. I had only had uni once, wasn't a big fan. However, I tried this uni and somehow it taste so much better than what I remembered. Definitely recommend this place for some good sushi. Its located in a plaza, so parking is not an issue.

I think the fish itself is very good and fresh. I went with my kids and they liked the food but I do admit it is on the smaller side and definitely more expensive compared to other places but I like it if you go once in a while, not all the time.

Birthday girl was impressed with the decoration., In my opinion, the food didn’t meet the benchmark expectation. Let me explain, the jalapeño bomb was big but flavors were lacking plus not spicy as described in the menu. The tempura lacked salt. The rolls were ok. No wow factor that my taste bud would crave to return.
Service was okay.
Parking- I would rate 10/10 since it’s free parking and lots of parking spot. Beware if you leave anything in the car. Not safe spot since homeless folks in the parking lot.

The Wife was craving sushi for some time now and we just happen to find this place. We were received right away and everyone was so polite. We both got a lunch bento(Sashimi, Sesame chicken) and two rolls (Super Lion King, Suki). All the food was so good, the sesame chicken was probably the highlight of the food. If you go in from 11-2 there are some sweet deals. Definitely a place worth checking out.

I found this place from google, kids decided they wanted sushi and I didn’t know any spots here in Elk Grove. So I google and found this place. OMG this place was so good, food was amazing with their fancy attractions. Their customer service was beyond great! The place is a small restaurant but very fancy setup. The owner was the nicest person I ever met, he gave free drinks to my kids and also free desert for the kids. He even gave me a free shot but I don’t drink. Food was fabulous, great looks, great tasting, just incredible place. I would rate this place 10 stars. Other restaurants need to learn from this guys the customer satisfaction, just amazingly stunning! I fell in love with this place, I will million times go here now than any other sushi place. Thank you Hinoka Sushi…we loved everything about your place.
Hello😊. My favorite Sushi restaurant to go to is Hinoka in Sacramento. The interior decor is so beautiful with flowers, japanese lanterns, a perfect venue for your family gatherings and romantic dinner nights. Lina & karen are servers that are so nice & friendly. I usually come have lunch 3-4 times a week during happy hrs. There is also the Omakase experience for sushi lovers everyday from 5pm to 8pm. I once brought a cute date to dine here, she was very impressed with the fresh food & lovely service. Lets just say i earned my way to a 2nd date hihiii. I’ve ate at many Sushi restaurants around the area like elk grove, downtown, natomas, but my first choice is always Hinoka because i felt very welcomed and their bento meals are so delicious!😋

My husband told me to stick with kantaros, but I wanted to try something new....But new is not always good...no one greeted us or gave us water, not to mention the place was empty. After waiting for some time we decided to leave and headed to kantaros.
