Ordered some apple fritters on Grubhub due to not having a car currently. I get a call 3 minutes after ordering explaining that they only had 1 apple fritter and if I would be ok with a peach.
It’s really awesome that the owner took the time to do that. They also included a third pastry as well without saying anything. The peach fritter was amazing, I already knew there apple fritters were great.
Already was my favorite donut shop but now I’m a customer for life . It’s the little things !

Great service and donuts! The breakfast croissant and bagels were freshly made and employees were super nice. 😊 Would highly recommend. Parking lot seems a little sketchy but I would still stop by next time to support them.

The breakfast sandwich I had was 🔥 But it’s the chocolate twist donut that I was impressed with. It didn’t taste like a regular donut to me, it was fresh and really tasty. I’ll definitely be back.

This is my favorite Sacramento donut shop! The donuts are incredible (OMG TRY THEIR CRONUTS!), but the service and kindness is even better. I grab these for anytime I need to bring dessert or something fun to someones house, and always get them when we have guests. In fact, I'm headed on my way now!

This was our first visit to Sunshine Donuts and we're wondering why we waited so long to try our neighborhood donut shop. They offer a large variety of donuts, the shop is very clean, the prices reasonable, and the owners are super nice. We ordered our go-to, apple fritter, and it was everything we love: crispy, sweet, and just enough cinnamon and apples to make it perfect. No need to drive to Apple Hill now, but maybe more frequent trips to the gym :)
