Recently came with my friend for dinner, heard good reviews about the Freeport location from a different friend so wanted to try a new sushi spot. The restaurant is tucked away among a strip of other shops/stores and restaurants off of Alhambra. It might be easy to pass but because you don’t see it from the street.
The inside of this restaurant is so beautiful! The decor is lovely, beautiful wallpaper and wall art, plants and flowers everywhere, lots of seating (table/booth and bar), and the atmosphere was overall relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, greeted us as soon as we got there, and were attentive during our meal.
My friend got an order of their oysters and the fire starter roll, I ordered the spd roll. I loved my roll, it had spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and fresh salmon. It was filling, delicious, and a nice level of spicy (I would’ve preferred maybe jalapeño or an additional spice). I would definitely be back to this location and will be checking out the other one as well. Check it out!

Came here for the first time with a friend, and had a delicious crunchy roll. It wasn’t as crunchy as I personally like, but it was tasty all the same! Would like to revisit as I love sushi.
Also had the stuffed mushrooms. Very tasty!

Easy to miss, will quickly become a favorite once you know about it. Not the best sushi in town, but the best in town is unaffordable, and this is pretty darn good. It's an adorable little spot, far back enough from the main avenues that surround it to be relatively peaceful, and the staff make it a really nice place to just sit and spend some time.
Great neighborhood place They have food for everyone, even if you don't like raw fish, but their shimi is very good and they have an excellent choice

Big dining room seats lots of people. This just means that when it's super busy, wait times are longer. They also have this weird thing about putting all the dishes on the table at the same time. If you order many items, you will wait for everything to be made before they bring it out.

I enjoyed my experience at sushi cafe, the food and staff were wonderful. I ordered a rainbow and free port roll. Somehow there was a miscommunication between the waitress and I , and I received the something I didn’t order. Thankfully they were very nice about it and quickly took back the food that I didn’t want and brought me back what I ordered. The waitress is really nice about it and the overall customer service was great! I highly recommend this place for family gatherings, birthdays, and more.

Every time I've gone here, the food has always been amazing & the service but this time I had a dirty bowl & the bowl pieces were coming off into my food, yes mistakes happen but I shouldn't have been charged for this at all. I threw up the little that I ate because it's just gross. They took off half the pay for the bowl of ramen that I got, that I threw up & barely got to eat. Bad service! I won't be back! Don't charge people for your mistake!
