This idea is good but to be honest as a foodie. The idea was better the the reality. The food was ok. Service was friendly but slow considering we were the only customer and it took about 15 min to get 3 sushi rolls 1 deep fried 2 not. The area was off florin near old florin. A bit dingy and in need of repair was set up in parking lot the plave you stand to order was also one of the driving space for parking. I felt uncomfortable standing in the driving lane. And it felt ackward to stand around waotong fornpur order so we sat in our car in the parking lot. Id suggest a picnic table and for them to move tje truvk to the bavk corner next to the store to make the experience much better I was glad there was sushi in the area as I didnt have time to go to my normal sushi restaurants. But I was craving sushi.

I ordered three rolls and received no condiments, no soy sauce, no extras. I received two forks and two chop sticks but there were three separate rolls. Why cheep out with that?

Ngl I was a little nervous getting sushi from a truck haha but it was the best experience! Best customer service! Food was incredible and super filling. We got sushi burritos and they were ginormous and came with lots of sauces. 20/10 I will definitely make this a regular spot

The flavors were both very good. We got the sacramento roll and the mexican roll. Both were good in flavor and presentation. The size was also bigger than normal sushi sizes, which makes it worth the price. I think two people could easily eat from one roll because of how big it is. I will say however, I wish they came with a side of sauce regardless of the extra 2 dollar charge. Otherwise, give this place a try!

Coworkers and i decided to try something other than our normal sushi spot. Took a chance on Sushi Hugo and everyone loved it here! Ordered no mames rolls and sorpresa rolls. Owner was very professional, and quick! 4 rolls in a little less than 15 min. Thank you so much!! We will be back. ?

Best sushi I have had in Sacramento! Been wanting to try since it was recommended to me. But I wasnt expecting to become totally obsessed. I had the Hugo roll and the Sexy Jalapenos. Just the appetizer alone would fill me up! Comes fully loaded and topped with plenty of sauce no need for aby dipping sauces. 10/10 can't wait to go back and try more rolls.
