Sushi Q is hands down our favorite spot in Sacramento! My fiancé and I try to make it a weekly tradition because everything—from the atmosphere and service to the music—is always on point. We hadn’t been in a while since welcoming our baby, but we recently brought our newborn along for a visit, and it was the best experience yet.

If I Could Give More Stars, I Absolutely Would! The sushi here is beyond amazing! The owner, Q, sets the bar for outstanding management and customer service—it truly shows in the whole staff. Q is so much fun and makes sure every guest has a fantastic time. They even offer free samples, and if you're lucky, shots of sake! My fiancé and I love this place and have made it our go-to spot for date nights every Friday or Saturday. Hands down, the best sushi spot in Sacramento.

We left after 45 minutes of waiting from 1205pm to 1259pm with no food arriving. We checked with our server after we noticed 2 tables that came in after us by about 25mins was already eating tempura which we had also ordered. Our server only said they were busy which didn't make sense because we were a party of 2 with zero food items from the kitchen and not one sushi roll after 45 mins. We left at that point and went elsewhere. It was our first visit and was terribly disappointing. We would have like to confirm the food quality that several reviews mentioned.

Waited for our food for 50 minutes, while 7 tables that came in after us all received their food. We had to ask if something had happened and our server said it got busy.. terrible customer service, the food looked good and smelled great just wish we were able to try it.

So glad I found this sushi restaurant. Signature sushiq roll was decent. Tempura octopus and shrimp are very tasty! My favorite part of this restaurant is their sashimi and nigiri. Excellent quality. Fresh Sashimi with delicious sauce and well decorated. I would definitely come back whenever I revisit Sacramento.

If I could give this place more stars, I absolutely would. The sushi here is beyond amazing. The owner Q exemplifies outstanding management and customer service, and it truly reflects in his entire staff.
Today, we indulged in four incredible rolls: the Crabby Roll, Dragon Roll, Scampi Roll, and the Uncle J Roll. Each bite was a delightful burst of flavors, meticulously crafted and exceptionally fresh.
We started with two fantastic appetizers: Gyoza and Shrimp Tempura, both perfectly cooked and delicious. We also tried a new item, the Salmon Kama, which was an absolute treat – flavorful, tender, and mouthwatering.
The food was exceptionally tasteful and bursting with flavors. We will definitely be back for more!

Second time coming here and vastly different experience. Somehow the sushi line cooks forgot 2 rolls in our order and it created an additional 25 minute wait for our entire table to have their meals. So some background we were a table of 4 and offered 6 rolls in order to eat dinner, together, but half our table had their food way before the other half. The waitress was extremely nice about it and tried to apologize but didn't offer any intensive for the time wasted at the restaurant which was why I have the negative review. Customer service is more of a motivator for another visit than the food quality in my eyes. Do better please!
