Bond Roll: 6/10 not bad not great. mid Calamari: 3/10 hard and batter was to salty Musubi: 5/10 spam was to hard and to top it off they add 2 slices of it. Lunch box with 5 sashimi pc and sesame chicken: 5/10 Sashimi was good. Thick cuts gives it a plus. The sesame chicken was drenched in teriyaki sauce. Interior: 10/10 Customer service: 7/10 Our waitress was nice but not quite helpful when it came to what to order. I also told her to give me a cup of water with no ice and she still proceeded with filling up my cup I had already with ice with water. Overall: not worth it. Don't waste your money or time.

Their Chef's Choice Cherashi used to be one of the best in the area. On my recent visit, it wasn't that good, and they had increased the cost by $3 and at the same time, decreased the quality of the food. The service wasn't that good either.

Will not be back. I thought calling here and ordering would be much faster but she quoted 30 mins and it's been 40 went in to be told to wait another 10 mins. Had I known i would've just ordered else where doesn't make sense Drive out here and sit here and wait 40 mins. One waitress running the whole floor, as much as they charge I assume they would have more employees working. Not accommodating at all!

This is my second visit as my first I had placed an order- paid for it, was told to come back in an hour or they would call me. They never called & when I came to pick up they said my order never got transferred to the kitchen. Another 35 mins of waiting for the food that was already paid for. Someone apologized & said to ask for her when I returned for a discount ,that may have been almost a year ago. Decided to try again and came in on a Friday to place an order to go. It did not appear there was a dedicated person to greet, seat, or take care of phone/ to-go orders. I was told my order would be ready in an hour. Ordered a Bob Marley ($14) Big Papa ($17)& a Cali Roll ($9.50) there was also a $1 up charge for ordering to go. Food was great. I've enjoyed their other location on EGF & so was happy to see they were closer to home. Inside is small but definitely a bigger space than EGF. It gets busy in here y'all! Plan on waiting when dining during peak hours & delayed service. In this current visit there was only two women running the floor. Returned after an hour to pick up my order and was told it wasn't ready - waited another 20 mins. Again, the food is delicious and size portion was excellent but I have to remember not to be super hungry when I decide to come back. Staff seemed nice, but it was so busy the hospitality aspect was lacking.

Really good sushi here! Staff were friendly and attentive! The presentation of food was on point! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Their pickled ginger was my favorite! It has a fresh, clean, and crisp taste! I wish I could take a bottle home! It's hard to find really good pickled ginger at sushi restaurants! So, I am glad we came here for dinner tonight! We've thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back for more!

When the host says 35-45 minutes, take into consideration it may be 55-60. I sat outside jn my car at the 45 minute mark and walked in and a server said it’ll be another 5-10 minutes. It ended up being closer to an hour. I am fine with waiting if the product is good but the dragon roll I ordered had fishy tasting unagi. Like it was warmed up then got cold. The softshell crab or spiderman was also fishy tasting like it got too cold. So was my two rolls just sitting there for an hour? I got an additional SushiQ roll and that was okay…but it also seemed like it was sitting. It probably really doesn’t take almost an hour to make these three roll but come on…no apologies, just handed me the sushi to pay and no thank you??? Why am I spending $54 on take out rolls that look like they came from Bel Air??? Additionally, the next morning waking up my throat and mouth felt so dry. I wonder how much salt is added to their sauces…must be a lot for my throat and mouth to hurt. It was good when it first opened and I didn’t mind spending money that produced good quality food but I don’t think it’s as good as before.

Excessive Charges and Poor Customer ServiceI recently celebrated my brother's birthday at your restaurant on 02/20/24, and I must express my disappointment with the experience. As a frequent customer, I felt taken advantage of due to excessive extra charges. I was charged an extra $8 for swapping fish, and even more money for a mere drizzle of spicy mayo (while omitting other sauces), and even for a tiny side of tempura sauce.What's more disheartening is my attempt to address these concerns with the management through the provided email on your website went unanswered. This lack of response only adds to my frustration.I've been a loyal customer, but this experience has left me uncertain about returning. It's disappointing to see a place I used to enjoy nickel and dime customers, especially when other sushi restaurants in Sacramento don't adopt such practices.I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider reevaluating your pricing and customer service practices.
