You cannot understand the level of service I had at this new-ish amazing, family-run, sushi restaurant that I lucked into on a random slow night. No one deserves your money more than these people. The coldest beer in frosted glasses - yes, great Japanese whiskey selection - yes, the kindest people running the place - yes! I am absolutely making this a neighborhood hangout as long as they'll have me.

Super nice owner and staff, they were welcoming from the get go and attentive! We love the spicy garlic edamame. We tried the Hamachi, Lemon Salmon 5, and Crunzilla rolls. All of them were great and we would get them all again! Can’t wait to come back when the weather is good enough for the patio.

Negihama was very good. Hama collar was generous though a bit dry. Very festive although the decor is a bit random.
I've been going to Sushi Yo since it began as Crazy Sushi (and then Sushi Yo), a tiny restaurant on Fulton & Marconi. Tandy, the owner, was always on site and made sure every roll was to your liking. I must have eaten there at least three times a week, the sushi was that good and the quality of ingredients was always excellent.
I have now followed Tandy to his Sushi Yo restaurant on Arden Way and he has come a long way from the humble beginnings of Crazy Sushi. Sushi Yo has an extensive food and drink menu, the interior feels casually upscale, and the wait staff are friendly and professional.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of appetizers, rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and vegetarian. I have to say, I'm so proud of Tandy for making his dream come true of owning his own restaurant. Visit Sushi Yo today, you won't be disappointed!

By far the best sushi I've ever had! T was an amazing server and Tandy(owner) whipped up an amazing cocktail called the Arden Sunset. They've only been open 5 months and are off to an incredible start. Can't wait to come back again!
