The sushi was fantastic, the inside was very aesthetically pleasing and the service was on point. A little expensive, but that's normal for a decent sushi place.

Listen! Listen! Listen! šŸ£
If you want high-quality sushi, you need to check out this new place! Their sushi is the best I’ve had in a very long time—better than Kru! And I’ve been to many sushi spots in Sacramento.
We had the hibachi-grilled kama cheek, which was an absolute dream, and the sashimi melted in our mouths.
Highly recommended for all sushi lovers!

Had to try the new sushi spot in Arden Way. Freshest sushi I’ve ever had. I’m used to AYCE sushi but this is different.

I had their Wagyu Roll and The Reader and my wife get the Arden Oak and the Summer Night. Both were fantastic!

Thanks to Tandy and Natalie for bringing your place to our neighborhood. Also, Love David at the bar, they have a variety of option from your traditional old fashion to house cocktail and specialties. Will come back.

Super fresh sushi. They just moved and the bartender was out. Service was a little slow. But I would recommend and definitely go back.

New restaurant. ā€œSoft Openingā€ banners outside. My wife and I decided to check it out, having waited for it to open. Only a few tables were sat, not uncommon for the early dinner we set out to have.

Staff were extremely friendly. Mark was our server. Great atmosphere. Great food. Full bar with a few beer options on tap and more in bottles. We had draft beer which was served in ice-cold mugs, a great touch for the hot days ahead.

We had the calamari and Angel Lips (crab stuffed jalapeƱo) as appetizers. JD Roll for an entree. Everything was plated nicely and delicious. Clean flavors.

Overall a very, very good experience. Definitely recommend.

May 29 was the first time trying Sushi Yo! It didn’t disappoint. My friend and I enjoyed the Orange Blossom and Larry’s Luau, both delicious! Fresh tasting. We’re going back for seconds this coming weekend!😊

Stopped in during their soft opening. Good vibe; friendly and focused staff. And my daughter loved seeing the fish tanks!

Fresh space, familiar taste, but service falls behind.

My husband and I have been fans of Sushi Yo since their old Fulton Ave location, so we were excited to visit their new Arden spot during the soft opening. The inside is beautiful. The menu is similar to the old one, and prices are on the higher end with rolls starting at $15, bento boxes at $23, and ramen at $20.

Understandably, it’s a soft opening, but it was clear that they were understaffed. There was only one server trying to handle multiple tables, one sushi chef making all the rolls, and probably one cook in the back which led to a frustrating delay in service. We arrived right when they opened, but still waited about 30-40 minutes for our food to arrive. We ordered the JD roll, a bento box, bluefin belly, amaebi, and ramen. The blue fin belly was disappointing. At $16 for two pieces (market price), we expected the melt-in-your-mouth texture we’ve had at other places, but it just didn’t deliver. Aside from that, everything tasted great. But the long wait made the overall experience feel less enjoyable.

The server and owner were both apologetic, which we appreciated, and it’s clear they’re trying their best to get things up and running smoothly. We’re hopeful that once they have more staff and have worked out the kinks, we’ll be able to enjoy the great food we know and love without the service hiccups.
