Everything was more than we expected for our first murdwr mystery dinner except the steak was a little bleh. But that's understandable when you're cooking for 200+ people. From the waitstaff to the performers though they made sure we all enjoyed a wonderful show, kept the glasses full and made sure we didnt need anything else.
We've been on this a few times over the past 20 years.. Always VERY mediocre play and actors, but nice for some laughs! The food is so-so as well. We enjoy showing up early to enjoy the Delta King and walk around!
Fun experience, the food wasn't as good as I had anticipated. Ordered steak for two. Both were under cooked. The actors are funny.
A lot of fun. Had the right suspect but could say how I picked him....
We came with a large group of people that took about 4 tables. This activity was organized by Wounded Warrior Project. “Suspects Comedy Mystery” is aboard/co-located with Delta King Hotel. It’s on/or near the waterfront. When you come to it, it looks like a huge ship with about three stories high but, it could’ve been four I can’t remember :).
Just Really Bad all the way around:A) We were supposed to have a great table for my wife's bday, per the manager when reserving... we ended up in the very back and could see a male performer changing and others preparing to come out.B) The performance and act were lacking in plot, audience participation, writing and acting. And they just gave you a disjointed answer at the end.C) Didn't ask how we'd like our steaks done; some people had well done, some ended up with rare. An esily avoidable issue in food service.D) The server delivered the wrong wine to my wife for her 2nd and final glass of the evening. Server then argued that no mistake was made, and would not replace the glass... rediculous!! I went upstairs 3 levels to the bar and ordered her the actual correct glass of wine from the bar.E) There was a water drip landing on the floor, between two people sitting at the table, coming from the wood trim in the ceiling.
Horrible experience and NEVER going back. If I could give it a zero I would. Friends and I attended the second show. We didn’t get seated until 8:50. We estimated there was 160 people in the room. 12 people to a table. Very crowded. It was obviously a quick setup, missing one place setting at our table. Food was cold. I had the steak, it was so tough and fatty, I gave up trying to eat it. Obviously left over from the previous show. 2 people at our table didn’t get served and had to wait. You could tell the actors weren’t really into it. Clues were scarce and it was hard to follow a very cheesy plot with so many obnoxious inebriated people in the crowd (I can’t blame the host for that).

I might have enjoyed it except that we were So Hungry! To me dinner theater means dinner. No food at all until bread and salad around ,8pm. No entree until after 9pm. Show is raucous and goes on and on if you are hungry.
Restaurantji Recommends
Had a blast and worth the money!!!!
The entertainment and food were bad.
Very clean. Nice staff.
This was a fun experience
We received a gift card from our children and looked forward to a date night, mystery dinner.First, reservations with a gift card are very complicated. You must email and they take their time responding. I tried calling but they don't answer their phone. We arrived right on time only to find no host at the door, had to track someone down to find our seats. It was obvious they are either understaffed or disorganized.A couple already seated at our table had been waiting on their drinks for 15 mins when we sat down, and it was another 5-10 mins after that when they were served.Water on the table was not enough for number of guests seated and hard to reach. Dinner rolls we're obviously pulled out of a plastic bag from Costco and cold. Food choices were steak, potatoes and veggies, Teriyaki chicken, rice pilaf and veggies or Risotto and veggies. My hubby got Steak and it was dry and came with four string beans. I got the chicken which was not plated with rice pilaf but just plain white rice and string beans. We give food a #1.Cocktail drinks were watered down and expensive. I ordered a prosecco and waitress brought a tiny bottle uncorked and realized she should have opened for me so took it back to open ($15!).Show was okay, acting marginal, storyline was amateurish.Best part was my date. I am grateful my kids bought us this for our Christmas gift, I would not pay to go again and can't imagine this staying open much longer.
