I was surprised at how dirty this place was. I had always heard about Swabbies on the River with great dance music. Sounded like a great venue. I was disappointed. The tables and chairs were dirty, and had been for a long time. The stage was OK, but the dancing was in the dirt. They haven't even poured a cement pad. The dance are was really small, too. I think this is because they sell tickets for tables, then squeeze in the maximum people, crowding out dance area. Parking was fine. We used the overflow parking in the boat launch parking lot, $7.00. We ordered fish and chips, two pieces of fish, lots of fries, $15.00. I think it was all frozen beforehand, but was OK. Probably won't be going back. Dancing in the dirt just isn't what I expect to get with a $36.00 ticket for a cover band.

This was such a beautiful place to end our trip. We stayed with our friends for a trip to Tahoe and we ate here before going to the airport. It’s a vibe! So pretty!! ?

We regularly take our boat up the Sacramento River and go here for breakfast and lunch. Free covered docks for patrons.
If there is live music, there is normally a cover charge, but if you are just going to eat before the band starts, you can usually get in without paying the cover.

Bee. Going to swabbies for 5+years. Food never disappoints me and have never gotten sick from it. Servers are top notch. Good security to keep everyone safe. Best bands ever.
The only thing I would have to say that is negative is I wish they would lay down some concrete instead of having dirt floors. I can never wear open toed shoes because of all the dirt and rocks that in between my toes so I always wear tennis shoes
