Try the mangonada! Just be careful, it's messy! I wish they'd add mangos inside the entire slush, not just the topping.

Nice clean and cozy spot. Service not there didn't greet , didn't explain things and also notice while there they didn't greet anyone or really help with service. I ordered the orange Popsicle, when I asked how to pronounce it he just translated what it was. I'm assuming one isn't supposed to chew the Popsicle because there were hard seeds in it that could have broke me teeth. If you know what you want and don't need help this is the place for you but don't expect help if it's your first time. At the end one person said " welcome in " the other four did not.

Unfortunately, we don't get eloteros or ice cream trucks in our neighborhoods in Midtown. It's definitely something I miss from SoCal. Luckily Sweets & Sugar Ice Cream is nearby to fill that niche. They sell everything you can find in your typical paletería like La Michoacana. The menu is enormous with a ton of options to fulfill any cravings. This time we got a fresada, fresas con crema, and a churro cheesecake. They were all great, but I highly recommend the postres/desserts because they put chocolate, caramel, lechera/condensed milk, and fresh strawberries. We'll definitely be back to try the ice cream, paletas, and licuados. Be aware the parking is a shared lot with other businesses so be prepared to park on the street if full.

The best michiladas around town !! Desserts etc . I love the inside as it has everything you need . They're also at denim's in Roseville . Wish they served the beer there too. Besides that I'd recommend to get out and try. .if you love michi's , head out there on Thursdays. The have them on discount . Also the shrimp it comes with are spicy and super hot ! That hotness brings my soul joy lol . Stop by , you won't regret it !

I moved from SoCal to Davis a few months ago and have been craving a chamoy apple so much. People were right when they told me Davis is full of nothing, so I had to find a place in Sacramento. I decided to get the crazy apple at Sweets & Sugars right after my last afternoon class and it was worth the 30min traffic-filled drive. It hit the spot and whenever I need a little taste of home I'd definitely come back here. Only complaint is the tiny parking lot.

My dad is the one who introduced me to this place Francisco, the owner is great his son also. The young ladies are a little rude but they're teens who are learning to navigate this world. As a mother of three teens, I get it. I love the fresh juices. I travel across town often to get mine.

I love this place so much for their strawberries and cream. The fruit is always fresh and they never skimp on the granola, coconut, and raisins. Staff are super friendly here and will even pack the toppings on the side if requested. I have never stayed to eat here but they seem to keep the tables clean. Highly recommend this place.
I enjoy coming here when I have the chance to. Great place to stop by for some ice cream or your cravings for some mangonadas or some Mexican snacks. They also do juicing, which is a great idea, too. I got the skincare juiced this time, and I enjoyed it. The seating area is spacious, but the parking spot is quite small.

So today I wanted to stop by sweets and sugars and I was greeted with a rude introduction. I didn't even get a hi while they were finishing up their conversation. I go up to the register and still no greetings and had to wait for them to finish there conversation. It doesn't end there. I order my drinks and now watching them get made. I noticed while one of them was making it she didn't put any condensed milk which I asked for so I let the barista know she rudely Poured a bunch of condensed milk and when I say a bunch I mean practically the whole bottle (opened the cap) then she goes ahead and grabs my ice out of the cup (practically the whole drink) with her hands to pour more condensed milk on the bottom of the cup. VERY VERY RUDE..... the older lady was the one who served me I don't know here name. But she shouldn't work in customer service . I have been here plenty of times no problem.... She was prob having a bad day but to get treated rudely was definitely not the way to go . Mind you customers were in their as well very embarrassing.

Hard not to find something you like in this place. They even have a beer fridge?! Lately I've been craving Gunther's ice cream more than usual so I've been here a couples times this month already oops sorry not sorry. My order is usually a boring go to like cookies n' cream or choccie chip cookie dough in a cup. A few weeks ago I even went so far as to order a waffle cone! Usually I don't because I don't like messy foods, but I was living a little that day what can I say?If I wanted a Mexican treat like a mangonada or paleta they have these too. They have a giant menu of Mexican goodies, shakes, sundaes, and aguas frescas. It's impressive. I'm always pleased with the quality of my desserts and the cool efficiency with which the folks bang out order after order. It's nearly always out the door when you come here in the Sacramento Sauna season. You may have to squash into a line situation that may trigger claustrophobia, but mine's always been in check here. They'll give you a receipt with your order number on it, and call it out when it's ready. You can hear them from outside too since the foot traffic in and out is usually constant. Sometimes we eat outside at the picnic tables if there's room, and sometimes we go for a romantic stroll. I love this neighborhood and Sweets & Sugars Ice Cream.Parking: very hard to find, small lot, we usually walk here so... I would try side streets in the neighborhoods adjacent. 4th Ave/Wayne Hultgren Lightrail station or 62 bus are other options to get here. Don't try to go in the small parking lot if it's crowded.Bathroom Report: smol, does the job of bathroom, be careful not to open the door into a bunch of people in lineVegan Corner: Oof not really much choice here, a cup of fruit perhaps, or fruit juice by itself

This place is fantastic! I have been coming here for years. They sell Gunther's ice cream. They have 3D desserts beautifully made. The service is great. And it's the perfect spot for a summer treat. They have all the Mexican desserts. This is the only place I come for a mangonada! The place is small but there is seating inside and outside. If you haven't heard of it and you're reading this go check it out for yourself. You're welcome
