The ribs were GREAT and yummy sauce. I didn't care for the sides but it's a rib joint not a sides joint. The guys were genuinely nice men. It's will keep going there and very much recommend it to all.
I always stop at T&R Taste of Texas Barbecue before heading up to see if the old hermit Hillside Jack is still living up there on top of Grizzly Peak.
I got some BBQ chicken and stuff from my garden to take to him because he doesn't come off the mountain anymore since he stopped cutting his hair and beard, and looking more like an animal than a man. We sure liked the chicken, and it was much better after we poured a bunch of hot sauce on it!

Really reasonable prices and great portions especially in comparison to most of the other places on this portion of broadway– and so, so good. Literally, I would’ve included a picture of the sandwich I just had but I was so engrossed with eating it I didn’t even think about it before it was gone.
