Although a too sweet for my liking, my son absolutely loves boba tea. Therefore, to hear about his first day of middle school, I thought it would be appropriate to treat him to some boba! T% is located in close proximity to our home and my son has been wanting to visit since their recent opening, so I didn’t have to do much searching to find an establishment.

Upon entering, an employee greeted us and we proceeded to place our orders via the kiosk. My mom ordered the Strawberry Green Tea, my son ordered the Tiger Brown Sugar Boba, and I ordered the Mango Passion Fruit Green tea. One thing that I delighted in and appreciated, is that they offer different sweetness levels. After receiving our drinks, my mom took a sip and realized that her drink needed a little more sweetness. The kind employee who made her drink offered to add sugar until it met my mom’s expectations, in which it eventually did.

My drink was very fresh and refreshing, the perfect treat for a very humid summer afternoon! Most importantly, my son thoroughly enjoyed his order and couldn’t stop talking about it (he is easy to please just like me)! His only concern was that they do not have many bubble tea options, which he reasoned that it is probably because the business is new. I look forward to paying a return visit as they expand their menu!

Was a good place but now they can't even get orders right, so annoying

Kiosk only ordering. Not much flavor. Fruit tea tastes straight from a bottle that you can pick up at an Asian grocery store. Lots of ice. 10% default tipping for basically no service. Small cramped store with no seating. Not worth coming back.

I’ve been ordering here for the last three years and until recently was a regular [addicted] customer. Lately though I’ve become extremely disappointed with the customer service and quality of the drinks. On several occasions when picking up an order I’ve been blatantly ignored while standing very obviously off to the side within view. This happens whether there is a line of ordering customers or not. Then I’m treated as though they’re annoyed by me once they do acknowledge. Despite this decided to give them another shot because I like their coffee and it’s close to home.

Today my partner went in and even after telling him they were waiting for the other drink in our order, placed the second drink off to the side and ignored him completely as more customers came in and received their freshly ordered drinks. They put him in the position to have to interrupt service/the line because they neglected to use common sense to acknowledge or follow up with him. It took him 7 or 8 mins to receive the second drink which is ridiculous especially after already checking in with staff. After all that, the drink wasn’t made correctly (80% sweetness) and was sickeningly sweet (tasted over 100%) to the point we didn’t enjoy it.

I won’t be coming here anymore, staff desperately need a real manager and training around positive customer service and multi tasking. Having an actual structure/process and signage around pick up orders would improve the experience as well.

I would also note the variety of drinks is pretty limited compared to other boba tea shops within a 2 mile radius. It feels like ownership doesn’t have passion for the shop anymore.

Got the Kyoho Grape with cream 80% sweet and bf got the Ube Vietamese Coffee with 50% sweetness. We were both very happy with our drinks, I cant wait to get it again! It does not take like fake grape and very fruity! T% is a little out of the way for me but if we're in the area, we always drop in to try a different drink-- have not been disappointed so far! I've had their Coconut Iced Coffee and Hey Sesame is also a regular drink for me. The inside is all pink and cute. Drinks are ordered on a giant tablet. Not a good space to hang out with friends, you just grab your drinks and go.

This is the Strawberry Mochi Yogurt drink from the T% in Elk Grove! 🩷 The drink looked so much better in person, so the pictures don’t do it any justice haha The strawberry and yogurt paired very well together and was very pleasant! It’s also nice that this drink comes with whipped cream if you’d like for no extra cost! For the mochi at the bottom, it was definitely such a new experience for me! I really liked it a lot, especially how it was super stretchy and yummy! It kind of felt like drinking a very long marshmallow haha This shop was a little small and probably is more of a to-go only kind of place, but it was super pink! They don’t take cash at all sadly, but the kiosk was super easy to use thankfully!!! The workers were very nice and were kind enough to answer my questions when I needed help! 😊 It was $5.95 before tax and then it was $6.25 after tax.

The service is fast and the checkout process is seamless.
This is only a take out place and no place to sit and relax. The decor is cute.

Disclaimer, I have very high standard for milk tea based on my 25 years of experiences of trying boba tea in various countries and places.

The drinks are half bad and half good. Don’t bother to get any milk tea, the tea flavor tastes very water down and you can taste the tea is cheap.
Anything smoothie and fruit-related (except sesame smoothie is bad) drinks taste decent.
In my opinion, the best one is flamingo lychee and taro mochi.

This place is really nice and a bit hidden in. Been in the area a lot of times and never seen this place so I was suprised to see a boba spot right there, I decided to stop by and experience it. And honestly, it’s pretty solid, it’s not the best boba I’ve ever had but it sure as hell is good. Not too expensive and the place looks nice.
Excuse the horrible recording quality ?.

Parking: Small parking lot in the front and on the side there is a big parking lot, should be more than enough.

I have been a regular customer but I'm disappointed with the service at your boba tea store. My order was overlooked upon pickup, and there was no acknowledgment or apology from your staff. Despite being there, I was not informed or apologized. Even some customers were served before me, and only after I asked about my order did your staff begin to do it without any communication, explanation and notification. This lack of attention and communication is concerning. customer service need improvement.

As a Bay Area native, I would argue that I've consumed enough tea and boba that they likely make up at least 10% of my blood volume at this point in my life. With that little confession out of the way, I must share that ever since I've relocated to the Sacramento region, T% has quickly become one of my (if not THE) favorite tea shops in the area.

T% is a fairly new chain to the boba gang; however, they have quickly made a name for themselves and now boast 5 locations in the northern California area. With a motto proclaiming they provide "freshness that you could feel, quality that you can taste", T% really set a goal for themselves - one which I believe they fulfill very well with their hand-crafted drinks.

Located in the Calvine Corner Shopping Center, T%'s Elk Grove location offers plenty of parking for patrons who want to stop in and pick up a drink (which if you've read enough of my reviews, you probably know I have a strong dislike for driving and parking wherever I go to done is always a big plus in my book). Upon taking your first step into the shop, you'll be hit with a wave of pink - and I mean it. Their interior is almost all pink complete with some neon signs, (fake?) cacti decor, and a small seating area for you to take a rest while waiting for your drink. Admittedly, their pink decor is not for everyone, but I have to admit it does make for some aesthetic photos.

I arrived on a warm Sunday afternoon where I like many others was looking for something to help cool me down as I braved the hot Sacramento sun. Ordering is simple and straightforward - completed on a touchscreen monitor located in the shop. Although there were a number of other patrons before me, I waited at most 10-15 minutes for my drink, which I feel is fairly reasonable. As I mentioned earlier they have a small seating area, which I utilized while waiting for my beverage.

My personal go-to at T% is their lychee flamingo topped with lychee jelly. Their lychee flamingo is a blended lychee fruit tea with lime slices added in - the perfect summertime drink especially on a hot day. True to their motto, you can really taste the freshness and quality of their drinks as you can clearly taste the flavor of the tea and the fruit truly shines through.

If you're looking for your next tea spot in the Sacramento area, then I highly recommend giving T% a chance!

T% Coffee + Tea in Elk Grove is one of my favorite boba tea shops in Sacramento. They have many drinks I like. The best one I love is the Hey Sesame. It is so yummy. It has a rich sesame flavor, and 50% sweet is the best for me. The workers here are all super lovely every time. The shop is usually busy, but they're also fast.
