They run everything out of the food truck at this location and there's not a lot of parking...other than those non issues, this place does some of the better Mexican food you can get in land park/oak park area. It's not il noviero or los jarritos on Broadway, but neither are their prices or lines. Have to get the churros or carne asada fries if you haven't had them at a taco express

Don’t ever go there, especially when the younger generation from the 18 and 25-year-olds that are working there because we paid $53 for some food and they ripped us off . the main dishes were the Quesabirrilla with consume and they gave me a small shitty 1/4 ounce sauce cup of consume

When we pull up to the parking lot everyone was so confused. The parking lot is for the taco truck. You order at the taco truck then they bring the food to you. . The building inside is just a bathroom and some tabels for you to sit in. The inside isn't anything fancy. It wasn't cool enough for a hot day, but it was fun because there was a bunch of us there. . We all took advantage of the 1.50 tacos and we had the beef and chicken tacos crispy of course. We all loved the tacos. The shells were crispy and wasn't cooked in old oil. They gave us plenty of salsa too. Simple comfort crispy tacos. . Overall we loved the vibe and taco tues was a success. This location is different from the rest. I gave this place a second shot tonight & I deeply regret it. I waited behind 3 cars for 20+ minutes for just 2 extra greasy churros & 1 had no sugar/cinnamon on it. This is the worst location out of all of them thus far. The lady working acted like I was supposed to be happy waiting that long.. Just go to the one on Power Inn, you’ll get your order faster & it’ll be done right.

My kid helped paint the mural on the wall and I’ve been meaning to go. The food was amazing! And today was taco Tuesday and crispy tacos were only a dollar each. You can’t find a better deal anywhere in Sacramento or anywhere really in the whole country! The food was incredible very flavorful and fresh and the salsa’s were great too. I also had a churro with custard in it. Num num num. Add it to your list of must visit spots. There’s also an indoor place to eat as well as outdoor seating and a bathroom.

Excellent food and even better service. Went there with my daughter on a Sunday for breakfast/lunch and got the chorizo burrito; super delicious! My daughter got the street tacos and loved them, too.
I like the fact that this establishment has the taco truck setup but still offers a dining room for their patrons to sit down and eat (including a bathroom).
We also got tacos on a Tuesday (only $1!!) and it was a hit with the family. Would definitely recommend Taco Express to anyone looking for a quality Mexican food experience!!
