Salsa bar is way to spicy. Great service greet food. Need a mild salsa on salsa bar. I had to ask for pico de gallo.

This was my first time visiting here. It was recommended by my daughter and her fiancé. Inside was clean. My mouth was watering looking at their salsa bar. I tried the chicken and asada tacos. Delicious! Some of the yummiest street tacos I have eaten. Rice and beans??? So good! I loved the grilled serranos too. Glad I tried this place out. They have a huge menu and can't wait to try something else next visit!

Consistently delicious food. Great variety of tacos; I've also gotten the menudo and burritos. Great taste and good portions. Aguas frescas are delicious too. Service is quick. The young boy and girl (perhaps owners' kids?) are so sweet and attentive. Super hard working! Thank you for the friendly service!

I came here for lunch before a trip across the street to Costco with my brother. I had the lunch special with 2 crispy tacos with grilled beef. It was fantastic!! The rice and beans were simple - and great, especially when mixed with the salsas from the salsa bar. The tacos were nice and crunchy, and the meat was well prepared - and in very generous proportion. Next time I would order without or with less sour cream - it was a bit too much for my preferences. I was surprised by how quiet it was in such a nice restaurant - seems like a hidden gem! ? Jed approves! ??

Friendliest taqueria around! The food tastes fresh, each salsa hs its own character (unlike some), and the menu choices are so vast that I'm not even a quarter of the way through (I'm looking at you, mariscos!). They're even open for breakfast, with generous plates of chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. Really generous plates: rice, beans, salad all come with the main. Regular burritos and tacos solid. Quesabirria as messy and drippy as it should be with all that consomme - but no problema, there are rolls of paper towels at the tables for mopping it all up.

Great lunch spot for a quick bite. Fairly authentic style food and atmosphere.

We bought some food for a grad party last weekend and everything was fantastic. The temp of food, the quantity, and quality was absolutely perfect! The pastor and rice and assortment of salsas were top notch. Their customer service and pricing was spectacular as well. Nice staff, fair pricing for what we ordered. We will definitely be using them for future parties and continue to dine in as well. Big fans!

I stopped in to grab a bite to eat on my way to Smart and Final. I took a moment to scan the menu, and decided to go with the Nachos, and a couple of tacos. When I received the food, I opted to take seating outside, as it was the first nice day since the storms. I opened the Nachos, and the first thing I noticed was that it appeared to be dry! I mean, the cheese was hardened, the steak was NOT SEASONED, and the chips tasted OLD! I have NEVER BEEN THIS DISAPPOINTED IN A MEXICAN restaurant! Thoroughly disappointed, I moved on to the tacos. The tacos were slightly better, but still BLAND! I wrapped up the food, and headed back inside. I explained that the Nachos were not good, and I would like a refund. The cashier looked at me as though she all of a sudden didn't understand what I was saying. At some point, a guy came from the back, and I explained to him what the issue was. They spoke in Spanish to each other for a few seconds, and finally, after waiting another three minutes, I was handed a 10 dollar bill. The cashier seemed very irritated, and was ready for me to leave, however, she had not given me my exact change. She looked at me, as to say, WHAT!? And I politely let her know that I paid tax on my order, and she still owed me. She practically ripped the cash register off the counter to give me my change!? NO I WILL NOT BE RETURNING, NO IT WAS NOT GOOD, NO IT WAS NOT WORTH MY TIME!? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! NO STARS!

Had the 9.99 lunch special which is 2 tacos or 2 enchiladas. I don't know why every Mexican restaurant doesn't have a taco and enchilada combo but they allowed us to substitute 1 and 1. The taco is a street taco which I'm not usually a fan of but the meat was delicious! Enjoyed the salsa bar and eating in. Better taste than other Mexican restaurants in the area. No complaints. We will be back.

Food was fresh, well prepared, reasonably priced and friendly. My party wound up engaging the next booth in a wonderful conversation which included the food as well as our similar experiences in Mexico. A wondrous repast. As we are not from the area, we were guessing/gambling on Taqueria Tapaltos. We hit the jackpot.
