Come on taste of Thai you guys got to get back in business. A lot of us fans are brokenhearted because you close your doors.

Get ready to have your day ruined. Just went there to get some of our favorite Thai food in the city and they are CLOSED. PERMANENTLY. Dunzo. Such a huge loss to the Broadway scene.

My friend and I were looking for a Thai restaurant to get dinner at. We decided on this one, and it was unfortunately a big let down. We had such high hopes and were super excited about the food. However, the pad Thai was abnormally sweet and almost tasted like ketchup. Also, ordered the Pad See Ew with the highest level of spice and tasted no spice at all. Lastly, the crab ragoons were very mediocre and lacked flavor. Very disappointing given we had such high hopes for this place.

1st off,if your black or brown, you automatically get the "Racists Energy"Then when you order Thai fried rice, you get 3 pieces of small chicken, literally all rice. All in all, this is the worst thai food experience I've ever had in my life.I'll never eat here again,I felt like I was robbed and the energy was unsettling.

Daughters like the restaurant, as one of their favorites.Food often taste as if vegetables are fresh...cooked to stay crispy. Keeps it original color by that technique.Price is almost average... yet portions of both meat and vegetables is small based on the dishes we ordered: one with small sliced chicken; another with deep fried tofu; and a two-fish dish. Fish dish is a favorite of mine.Description of our food. One dish was buried with white onions. Two dishes were sprinkled with red or green bell peppers, just a few thin strips. I love vegetables...not much variety in these dishes. Plus side was plenty tasty sauce. That's good if you like a lot of sauce. Rice came with the ordered dishes, very small amount compared to other Asian restaurants.Presentation of dishes of food is lovely and simple. One aspect, not sure if they were dishes we order is they are loaded with either lots of sugar or monosodium glutamate, which offers an addicting sweet flavor.(With my restriction to sugar, I am conscience of amount of sweetness in dishes of food.)Even the soup was loaded with sweet and sour ingredients. Husband did not like it. I drank it... yes because it was sweet! Is it good for my body, probably not. I requested the vegetable, versus tofu. I asked what types of vegetables was in the soup. He mentioned a few which I could not clearly understand. Turned out...small pieces made it easy to eat: overcooked broccoli; sliced carrots; canned tiny corns; thinly sliced green asian vegetable; and green onion. I was looking forward to a different variety and more along the line of green asian vegetables. It is a dish I will definitely not order again. The server was the only person available to take the orders, gave us glasses of water and stack of dishes (we passed out to the family members) and delivered the food. He was mild manner and always in a hurry, ensuring all customers were attended.Although he was the only person, our wait was average before receiving our meal.We eat at this restaurant because daughters like it.

Taste of Thai 1628 Broadway Sacramento, CA 95818 If there were 100 stars, I'd give them more! Consistently: very good, tasty food. We go there at least twice a month, maybe more. The Yellow Curry, PAD KEE MAO (DRUNKEN NOODLE), PO PIA TOD (crispy spring rolls filled with mixed vegetables and glass noodle), and crab fried rice are the BOMB. Not a lot of parking around the restaurant, though. The water does not taste good. Take your own water if eating in or order take-out.

We always get great service and delicious food here. They've remodeled the interior and they have a pleasant ambiance and overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

First time and last time I visit this restaurant, had the tum yum and asked for medium-spicy, yet it was so sweet it! No where on the menu description did it state sugar as an ingredient. I could hardly tasted any of the herbs in Tom Yum. I couldn’t agree more with another reviewer who said the food was bland, because it truly is bland. I gave this place a try because of the other reviews but quickly realized this was not the place for me. This might be a good fit for someone who doesn’t like too much spice and prefer mild herbs/spice.

Delicious Thai curry served with jasmine rice. Perfect fried rice. Fresh ingredients. Chill atmosphere.

Been to this restaurant many times when craving Thai. I thought it was great at first but the quality has been declining over the years. Seasoning on the food has been lacking and mistakes have been made on a couple of orders (peanuts added to dish when requested not to for allergy reasons). My partner and I have also been getting sick after eating their pad Thai lately. After many re-tries I find myself gravitating towards other Thai restaurants in the area instead. Overall would not recommend this place unless Chada Thai next to it closes down or something.

Spicy lamb basil and Mango curry both delicious. No alcohol available for purchase at this time (license pending)

This is the kind of Thai place I go to when Chada Thai closes down forever. Bland food compared to Chada Thai next door, and they also gave my gf peanuts and tofu multiple times when told specifically it was a serious allergy.

Under new ownership, and food tasted great! Fresh, well spiced, and generous portions. Prices very reasonable. Love their ginger rice!

Always a great experience! Truly the best Thai in town. We really enjoy how authentic their menu is and the lovely presentation of each dish. Highly recommend the pad nam prik pao with shrimp! The picture does not do justice to how delicious and perfectly sauced this dish is. LOVE
