Tasty Dumpling

Tasty dumpling is one of my favorite spots I'm Sacramento. The spicy pork soup dumplings are great and the juicy pork buns are just devine (once they cool down, they come out blisteringly hot), I tried the steamed pork buns on my last trip and they were also very tasty. Service has always been super friendly and always aimed to please, everything is cooked fresh so you should always expect a bit of a wait once you place your order, it will be well worth it.

This place was not good. How can someone mess up fried rice? That was the worst fried rice I have ever had. That was the first time we went and for me that was the last time I'm ever gonna go there. The fried rice was bland and it smelled nasty. I was very disappointed when I got my food.

Went here a couple weeks ago before the fair opened at 4 but I loved the food and they were pretty quick about getting our food out as well along with being reasonably priced with the portions you are getting

What happened!? Tasty Dumpling used to be so much better. The fried rice was mushy and too eggy, the dumplings were poorly assembled and tasted different than they used to, and they swapped out house-made dumpling sauce with little packets. I started noticing a decline early this year, but thought maybe it was a one-off. At this point I think the drop in quality is here to stay :(

A true hidden gem!! I’m a dumpling fiend and think these are some of the best in the city. Certainly the best dumplings I’ve found at this price point. I also love the garlicky green beans!

Best soup dumplings ever. Joshua was a particularly professional employee today at the register. Will continue to visit regularly due to both the food and excellent service.

Food was ok, the service was good. But it wasnt that good. We got fried rice and we ended up getting big chunks of clomped rice.

This food is SO YUUUUUUMY!!! We come here all the time!! The staff knows how to cook here! However, they need a bus person to really spray and wipe the tables after each person. It's always sticky when we go.

Quiet and lowkey dumpling spot. Decent dumplings and sides. Quiet staff and you can see them making the dumplings.

These are the best soup dumplings around!! The service is always excellent and quick. I was so happy to see the new location closer to me but both are still so delicious. I also can’t get enough of the green beans and their pork buns too. Very clean space.

The soup dumpling is on point. It is recommended. The next item is pan-fried dumpling. Another good choice. Xian cold spicy noodle could be skipped. Noodle texture is not right. Cold dish potato lacks sourness. Tomato beef noodle soup and beef roll was decent.

The Shanghai dumplings are 5 stars, but the Xi’an cold noodles only get 3.5 stars. Overall, it is still a good place to eat.

This place might be the best in Sac, IMO. Everything we've had here has been fantastic and tasty. Some other places give you a weird aftertaste, but this place always makes me want more.
