Tasty Dumpling

As an Asian, I set a very high bar for dumplings. This place absolutely nailed it. The pan fried soupy pork dumpling was my favorite. Crispy dough on the bottom, chewy on the top. Soupy juicy fillings. Wonderfully seasoned and cooked just right. Dough was thin and not starchy at all. Will go again.

This place has good food, and good staff.
The staffing here is nice and treat you well. The atmosphere that this place has, is also pretty nice, which is nice.

The food that they have is pretty good, I noticed that some of my shrimp was a bit undercooked which sucked but mistakes happen and it was still edible so no complaints there I suppose. All in all, this was a good place and I would come again.

Good food, nice staff, worth a shot and the pricing honestly isn't too expensive.

Tasty dumpling is one of my favorite spots I'm Sacramento. The spicy pork soup dumplings are great and the juicy pork buns are just devine (once they cool down, they come out blisteringly hot), I tried the steamed pork buns on my last trip and they were also very tasty. Service has always been super friendly and always aimed to please, everything is cooked fresh so you should always expect a bit of a wait once you place your order, it will be well worth it.

This place was not good. How can someone mess up fried rice? That was the worst fried rice I have ever had. That was the first time we went and for me that was the last time I'm ever gonna go there. The fried rice was bland and it smelled nasty. I was very disappointed when I got my food.

Went here a couple weeks ago before the fair opened at 4 but I loved the food and they were pretty quick about getting our food out as well along with being reasonably priced with the portions you are getting

What happened!? Tasty Dumpling used to be so much better. The fried rice was mushy and too eggy, the dumplings were poorly assembled and tasted different than they used to, and they swapped out house-made dumpling sauce with little packets. I started noticing a decline early this year, but thought maybe it was a one-off. At this point I think the drop in quality is here to stay :(

A true hidden gem!! I’m a dumpling fiend and think these are some of the best in the city. Certainly the best dumplings I’ve found at this price point. I also love the garlicky green beans!

Food was ok, the service was good. But it wasnt that good. We got fried rice and we ended up getting big chunks of clomped rice.

This food is SO YUUUUUUMY!!! We come here all the time!! The staff knows how to cook here! However, they need a bus person to really spray and wipe the tables after each person. It's always sticky when we go.
