Very good place! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options that all have amazing depth of flavor. You can definitely tell everything is made fresh to order. Love the variety of tofus. 💕

I used to come to this restaurant when I was still living in Elk Grove. Back then it was not popular so we never have to make reservation. I always had a great experience there until recently. They open at 5pm. I got there at 5:15 with my 3 friends. The hostess asked me for how many people, I told her 4. She kind of gives me an annoying look and tells me that they are done for the night and I will have to make reservations. Umm they have 3 tables and one table with 3 people just left without being served right after we got rejected. How can they be done for the night when there’s only 2 table being served? They just open. I wasted my time driving from out of town just to be disappoint.

I always referred this restaurant to my friends and family. Now it takes me back to when my aunt tells me that she had a bad experience. She waited forever to get seated and forever to get her food.

You really have to plan strategically to dine here. No joke, my friend has been telling me about the fried catfish in forever. Their hours are 5-9 pm Thursday to Monday. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you try to come on the weekend or Friday night. There is usually a wait, unless you come at 5 pm when they just opened. Also, they seem to be short staff.

This review is based on my take-out experience for the fried catfish. We ordered the medium size, which comes with the rice paper, vegetables, vermicelli and two sauces (fish sauce & anchovy sauce). I don't know what they season the fish with or how they fry it but it is insanely good! I couldn't get enough of it. I love fish in general, especially fried fish. I would definitely get the large fish plus a meat dish next time for family of 4. Definitely 5 stars for the fried catfish.

The service can use some improvement. I had called at 4:50 pm to place my order and was told to pick-up at 6 pm. She took down my name and phone number. When I got there at 6 pm on the dot, they couldn't find my order. I think she gave my order away to someone else. I end up waiting for another 10-15 minutes and she didn't even address the mistake/wait or offer an apology. It's not a huge deal and I get the impression that is the norm for them.

The catfish wrap is always good here. Just make sure you call in and make a reservation so you can get a table.

The waitress/hostess was very rude. It took almost 20 mins for her to come to take our order. There’s only 2 of us. It took another 35 mins waiting for our food, and we saw that other tables that came after us got their food first and they had bigger parties and when we asked about our food she said 5 more mins. After 10 more mins we decided to just leave. Wasted over an hour waiting. Don’t go here if you want to be discriminated and waste your time.

Called them in the afternoon saying if they have any tables, and they said they would hold one for me. When I came, the owner said there were no spots for me available. Pho is also expensive as shit.

Came here for dinner. Staff didn’t acknowledge us as we stood at the front desk waiting to be seated. Was seated eventually and there was no table setting, no utensils, no plates, napkin, even though the empty table next to us had place settings. Then when it came time to take our order we needed a few more minutes to figure out what we wanted. Instead of saying ok, and coming back in a few minutes, the server puts the order pad and pen in front of me and clearly irritated says “write it down” and walks away. We were kinda shocked. It was already not off to a good start when we walked in and weren’t acknowledged, but this was a red flag. I have NEVER been given the order pad and told to write down my order at a sit down restaurant. WTH? When they came back to get the pad, they didn’t say anything. Just took the pad and walked away. Then while my partner was using the restroom, the server comes to me and says i need to move to another table and the people sitting at the table they want me to move to want to sit at the table I’m sitting at. I asked why and all the server kept saying was i needed to move and sorry, no explanation, nothing. So when my partner came back from the bathroom, we decided we had had enough of the ridiculous shenanigans and left. I refuse to give my business or my money to such a poorly run establishment. Plenty of other great dining options to support who are respectful and know how to treat people. Done.

Horrible communication. Tried calling in large order as they requested. Phone rang and rang-no answer. Arrived at restaurant, was ignored. Finally a lady came to take order. Then midway through the order, she left without notice and an elderly man came to continue taking the order. Took 1.5 hours for our food to start being served. We had 8 people at our table, only 6 glass of water was provided, however one of the glass was dirty and cloudy. Overheard a group of 3 guest sitting nearby (party of 3) complaining that they had been waiting 45 minutes for their food. When the food FINALLY arrived, every thing tasted great. We do not plan on returning.
