Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe-Sacramento

I found this little spot while going to the doctor. I love tea, so I just had to see what this place was like. I purchased the green tea strawberry lemonade. It was super tart, it was ok. I got the spinach Korean garlic barbecue chicken wrap. That was fire. The ladies working there was super sweet. The place was cute the way the sitting was. I would diff go back but I would try a different drink
Oh yeah!!! I got a lemon cranberry muffin that was what fire.🔥🔥🔥. I will try a chicken bowl next time. Until next time guys. Sweets out✌🏿✌🏿

I walked in ready to order and there was no one there. 4 minutes later a lady sweeping said “I will be with you in a minute” thinking she would stop sweeping, she continued to sweep. 3 minutes past and my order was still not taken, the lady was still sweeping, and there were 2 other girls behind the counter. I just walk out nothing there is worth eating bad service.

Restaurant was clean and inviting but food fell flat. Not much flavor a menu was a little overwhelming and no pictures to see what you are actually offering.

I have no idea what's going on with T-bar. I haven't been to this location in months due to the last experience with the brown rice that was so hard that was completely inedible. Today, I ordered the bowl with impossible meatballs. All of the meatballs were charred. I expected more for the price of $17 for a bowl of rice and salad. This is so disappointing!!

Food was good. I got the chimichurri steak bowl. My drink was ok. I got the chai latte. I expected it to be sweeter but that’s probably bc I go to Starbucks frequently.

I just had the worst meal of my year. The rice was reheated so many times it was rock hard, cracking my teeth. Completely inedible. Straight into the trash (both the bowl and wrap). Every year their portion sizes shrink and a larger proportion becomes rice (their bowls are like 70% rice now). I paid extra for the impossible meatballs in the wrap and there was ONE. One table spoon sized meatball in a whole wrap. Absurd. I did not want a rice wrap, particularly with inedible rice.

I reached out to them and gave them 2 days before leaving this review. They will not respond to me. I’ve been a repeat customer for YEARS but this is my last meal with them. They’ve become a caricature of the small business that tries to increase profit from every angle with quality falling off a cliff. Save your money, go elsewhere. Unless you want to pay $20 for basically a bowl of rice that causes literal pain in your teeth to eat.

Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe in Midtown is one of my favorite weekday quick dinners. Especially Monday when they have a deal on their bowls. The outdoor patio is an excellent space to enjoy a meal or a cool drink on a warm evening. My favorites are the fusion bowls & wraps with Impossible Meatballs and Israeli couscous. The only vegan dressing option is the wasabi ginger, so hopefully they add more in the future. You can't go wrong with any of the drinks (except the Freezes that contain dairy of course).
