Love Temple! The Mexican hot chocolate was delicious - just the right amount of spice and sweetness, topped with a mountain of whipped cream dusted with cinnamon. The monkey bread was just as good, perfectly gooey and loaded with cinnamon sugar. Temple is a great spot to bring your laptop to and just hang for a while. Recommend for anyone looking for a cool spot to unwind with some comfort treats. Don't skip on the hot chocolate!

It’s beautiful. Perfect. As in ice.The service is cold. If that is the gold, met. Estrella didn’t realize how impossible it was to load 2 plates, 4 pieces of heavy silverware, a water glass on a sliver of wood. The place is not packed, an offer to help, as a fellow patron did, just before the fork fell, would have been kind.I know I may seem demanding, but is it really to ask for help? It’s sad that the culture of innate kindness isn’t the culture.I work as a cashier, I enjoy helping and making my customers’ load lighter, on God.My standards are higher because I know what kind easy peasy service with a good heart is all about . I guess I am officially old. So there’s that.

Beautiful place, great coffee, and welcoming baristas!I did not specify whether I wanted cold or hot beverages, got cold, baristas were as cool as cucumbers and redid my drinks hot... During morning rush!Genuinely appreciated it. When I'm back in Sacramento you BET I'll be coming back here.Order: coffee beans (ground), honey café latte, dirty chai latte.Parking: It's busy in the morning, so if you find parking by the street, take it!

Best coffee in town! The staff is always super friendly. Even if there's a line it moves very quickly. It's very efficient. Consistently premium coffee.

For speciality, single origin coffee, Temple is by far the best in the area. I've had some incredible coffee here, and their beans (though ridiculously pricey) have always been perfect. For anything else, if you're not crazy about specialty coffee, they're great but not worth paying the premium. This particular location, the quality varies quite a bit depending on the barista. Indoor tends to be crowded. Outdoor seating is great in good weather.

I’m reading a book called Breath as Prayer, enjoying a decaf Mexican Mocha, realizing that I only have so many breaths and then there will be no more, so I’d better really live this life, connect with people, love people, smile, say hi, say how can I help you? A stranger smiled at me. It was like sitting in the cool, relaxing shade while still catching a warm beam of light that no one can take away from me. It was free for her and free for me. There was nothing to profit from it. It was spontaneous. There was nothing to lose. Why do we hold back our beams of light as if there aren’t enough of them? Let’s shine! These are the things that I think about while I’m reading my book and drinking my coffee at Temple.

My favorite all time coffee shop!! It has the best tasting coffee. The only downside is they raised the price on the coffee a lot the past year. I love coming here to study because of how late they close. The staff is always really nice and helpful. Highly recommended the iced vanilla latte!

I have been to Temple before and had a pretty bad experience as the pastry shelf didn't list ingredients and my son had a serious allergic walnut reaction. I'm pleased to see they have better labels but not great still. They should list that the muffins and other treats are made with almond flour as well. Baked goods are from Pushkins Bakery around the corner. With that said, I love love love the raspberry almond muffin and their winter drink special "winter bliss" was delightful! If you are sensitive to "loud" this is not the place for you. Not inside at least. You can hear every conversation and the barista station Is pretty loud. Also, the chairs dont have chair leg silencers/felt pads, so that's very startling. I do love the outside atmosphere but that wasn't an option on this rainy day. Choose your seat carefully. Their coffee and service is super quality. I'm just a little picky on some key issues.

There is NEVER a table inside, always hogged by students they need a time cap why are they able to sit there for hours on end and you can’t even meet a friend and sit inside for 30 minutes and have a cup of coffee they need to go to the school library!!
