Great food that is very fresh and comes out very fast. Drive thru is a great option for those in a hurry. Dining area is very clean and spacious and there is plenty of parking around. Employees are nice and courteous.

This is my favourite restaurant ever i go here all the time. from what i understand there use to be three restaurants with one owner, one on mack RD and there's one in Stockton city and the one on Kiefer Blvd. The restaurants closed or sold to different owners, the one on Kiefer Blvd is the best restaurant in sacramento i give it 10 out of 10. Best food in town.

Very surprised to see a drive thru at a teriyaki chicken restaurant. To much of our surprise, it was a quick and easy process in the drive thru. Food came out hot and delicious. Ordered the chicken egg rolls but didn’t see any chicken mostly cabbage but it still had a decent flavor. I appreciate that they supplied eating utensils and napkins even though we forgot to ask for any.

Wheelchair accessibility: Front door opens out, is not an automatic door. You can move the chairs inside to make room for a wheelchair.

Burnt meat. Poor service. They need to clean their grills more often.

They do NOT run the AC to comfortably eat in the lobby. The bathroom is smelly and so disgusting that the smell permeates thru the hot lobby. Food portions have def decreased in size. Then they charge .50 for refills and for condiment sauces. They def nickel and dime you while not running the air conditioner on a 100+ degree day. NEVER coming back.

4/24/2024 - So I finally got to try this little restaurant for the 1st time: Teriyaki Chicken Express. Address 9110 Kiefer Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95826.The food pictures look so good. We just went through the drive thru. Now... this is just my opinion and my experience. It may be different for others.ConsWe got the plate that had double chicken, veggies, and rice. Our chicken was on the very dry side. The rice was kinda hard soft, or so my little one told me. My little one didn't like the rice so didn't eat it. Normally loves eating rice tho. The two sauces we got were watered down and not much flavor, sadly. One was teriyaki and the other was the sweet sauce for the eggroll. We did not like the sauces. So luckily I had my own sauce at home and use that instead.ProsI loved veggies, so the veggies were great! I just had to add a little salt and pepper... and WhaLaa!! Yummy veggies. There is no flavor in the veggies. FYI. My little one liked the sweet and sour pork. Ate that all up. But my little one said the other sweet/sour pork from another restaurant we've been to had much more flavor and much tastier.ConclusionWe didn't go inside. So I can't comment on the inside. The drive thru was quick and easy. Large menu outside. The guy that took our orders at the window was nice. Sad chicken was dry, eggroll wasn't very good (had perfect crisp tho), rice on the harder side but still edible, and sauces were watered down so there wasn't much flavor. Good that my little one ate the pork. Veggies were great after I add a little salt and pepper to my liking (I prefer to do that on my own so not to salty). This is just my experience. This is not to put them down. But we weren't too thrill about their foods. Not very tasty. Maybe your experience may be different from mine. But should I ever decide to go here again to give it a 2nd chance, I'll update my review. You should go try them yourself and see how you like them and have your own experience.

This place has amazing teriyaki chicken. Of course you can buy teriyaki chicken from many places but if you want some of the best then this is it. The portion is also on the large side because they'll stuff your plates. Also have a freaking drive thru, ?.
