Excellent cocktails. Not the gimmicky style (which has its place). The drinks are just great mixology on display. Found this place on a week long work trip and have come 3 times this week so far. I'm digging the Seamus Levin - I would never have thought of scotch with mezcal!

This place is teeny tiny but bursting with character. I swear the Grand has the most creative cocktail menu in town, and that's saying a LOT. There's always something completely new that I've never had before but fits my tastes perfectly. A friend who has completely opposite tastes feels the same way. It's a highly curated, extremely thoughtful, wholly original menu that changes seasonally. The bartenders are always interesting and full of stories. I don't usually enjoy sitting at the bar, but I ALWAYS try to sit at the bar here and it's always a good time. The only thing that's a bit sketch is to get to the bathroom you have to go up and into a parking garage. Worth it though. Some of my favorite nights on the town in Sacramento have included the Grand.

Absolutely loved spending time at Sacramento smallest bar! I had always passed by this place not realizing it was a beautiful bar but finally got to try it. This is definitely a small bar! The inside has some high top and bar seating and most of the seating is outside. The bar is beautiful, it is intimate, romantic, and perfect for either date night, chill girls night, or a solo date.
The manager was great, very friendly and welcoming. He balanced continuing conversation with us as newcomers to the bar and serving those already there. Their menu has a great selection of wines and spirits. I had a glass of the Trefethen and it was great! The wine was perfectly tart and fruity. I’ll definitely be back!

After having an awesome dinner at Hyatt Regency, took a walk and went to this place and asked for a beer. The bartender who name is most likely Karen answered she has no beer. Only mix drink asked for a mix drink and said no. Asked for wine and she answered that she is not going to serve me and not going to tell me why. The customers were confused & one told her to serve me & her face became red & just started to shake her head as if she was having a seizure. Went to the bar across the street and was told that they seem to have an issue with men. How can this place still be in business, or has the law changed & now businesses can discriminate against you for your gender? Have attempted to call the owner but just goes to a full mail box. Pretty sure this place has lot of complaints w/the BBB, 🤣 Response to Owner which has phone issues. I was there on April 12, 2025 between 11:15 p.m. - 12:10 a.m., check ur video also the security guards across the street know about her not wanting to serve men & there other customers there that were upset. Your bar is really small. Better check your employee, guy!

It's a tiny bar. Like maybe they seat 20 people? But oh what a great place. If you want craft cocktails and a well curated spirit and wine list, come here. Make friends, get comfortable, have fun.

If you like your cocktails served with a shot of pretension, this is the place for you. The drinks are quite good and taste fresh. The place is cute. It’s a good place to bring your drink snob friends, but if you are not one yourself prepare to be publicly shamed by the bartender as he looks down his nose at you. I feel like he was more focused on maintaining his superiority than helping me find a drink I’d like. On the plus side, he said he’d make me a different one if I didn’t like the one I chose. It’s a nice atmosphere for catching up with old friends, not too loud or crowded.
