You will not be disappointed! Wow the food was so good. The apatizers were delicious and the staff was friendly and fast, the facilities were clean.. Idk how you couldn't like this place.

Visited for a couple of drinks. This place replaced the Bennigans at this location. It didn't seem to be too bad but this place is now closed as of 01/10/19.

I went here for a comedy show a few weeks ago and enjoyed the special happy hour-priced food and drinks, including a $5 vodka and soda and macaroni and cheese, which was also inexpensive (I forgot the exact price). This is the second time I've been here, and the service has been quick both times, and the waitresses were friendly. The mac and cheese was good, and satisfied my hunger while we enjoyed the comedy stylings of Lance Woods and friends. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant is spacious, which is appreciated by the jubilant Kings fans who show up after a win and want to throw back some beverages. The bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door and is located on the left of the bar. I still have a coupon I need to use so I plan to return for happy hour soon : )

We were able to enjoy a night out with yelp elite. Got to try their griddy fries and the hubby had a couple drinks. Think it's a great addition to K street's night life. They do serve lunch and dinner so we'll have to come back and try one day. Overall experience was good as far as grabbing an appetizer and a drink.

I came here last week for a Yelp event, and had a great time. I tried their taquitos, tacos, fried pickles, and mac and cheese. It was all pretty decent bar food, and it's hard to pick a favorite. Both the taquitos and tacos comes with cotija cheese, pico, cilantro and lime. Neither is super greasy which is always a plus. The fried pickles were pretty awesome. They are a lightly fried with a pickle spear inside. I definitely don't like when pickles are overly fried, and The Grid does not do that with their pickles. The mac and cheese is worth the calories. Trust me. It comes with a cheese blend of bacon; need I say more. Staff is friendly, and did well with our large group of Yelpers. This location has unfortunately not been the best for restaurants. I hope The Grid does well, because I plan on coming back.

What a hopping place on the corner of 10th/K downtown. If you are a Kings fan, this is your place to see the games!!! Went here last night for the Kings after party and had a blast. They have a huge beer selection here. They offered a $5 drink and appetizer menu. The pours were very generous and altho we didn't have appetizers what we saw others eating looked amazing and their comments on the food was very positive. Next time I have to try the fried pickles or the nachos. There were 5 comedians taking the mic last night ending with Lance Woods who was our favorite and hilarious. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back!!

Can I give 3.5 stars? The Grid is definitely above average for K Street and is a good addition for the face lift that is trying to happen. It's a great spot to catch a game or hang out afterwards. I recently came for a Yelp Event and while I did not try a lot of the food, it's not bad bar food. I think some people are expecting The Grid to be a 5 Star resturant, but I don't think that's what they're aiming for.. The bar is large and features heavy pours, staff is friendly, tons of TVs and seating, HUGE bathrooms (shared with the Boiling Crab) that stay stocked and relatively clean (water spots, trash on floor, but no major clogs or empty paper). In my opinion, this restaurant is aiming to be a sports bar, and let's be fair, sports bars aren't known for their five star cuisine. However, I do get that they have advertised themselves to be food centric. If The Grid is trying to be a sports bar and a late night hangout, then they need to dim the lighting. The lighting is borderline harsh. And while it's great because I can see EVERYTHING when I slyly people watch - It's hard for me to be sly under a spotlight and I don't really want to see everything that the late night crowd has to offer. It's also a little bright to be a good date spot. Now that I've talked myself into a circle here, I'll say that The Grid needs to figure out their identity crisis and decide if they are trying to be a great restaurant, or a great bar. Very few places can succesfully do both and I don't see a restaurant on K Street, with a largely late night & game night clientele, being able to acheive that. Come for drinks and a Kings game. Eat if you're hungry.

I didn't have an option to give it 0 stars. The waiters were very nice but the food was terrible. We waited forever to be served. Then We were served two hairs in our appitizers. When we were given our burgers they were raw so we sent them back. When they returned all the toppings were mixed up some had non and some had all of them and the one burger still was not done.

Great food, prices, and atmosphere. My only complaint is that the server gave us all water without asking, please ask first.

You don't have to be a food aficionado to know that this food is horrible, almost as if they aren't even trying. I don't know why anyone would open a restaurant if they weren't passionate about food. Instant mash potatoes coated mine and my girlfriends plates. Potatoes are a dollar or two a pound, why would any restaurant think it was okay to serve instant mash potatoes? I ordered the Spicy Sausage and Shrimp. $14 for 3 shrimp and a half of a sausage link cut into quarter sized pieces. The potatoes were disgusting. My girlfriend got the $16 pan seared Salmon. Dry salmon - probably because they bought cheap salmon that's packaged and frozen. As a reminder, the salmon was sitting on a bed of fake potatoes. She literally left 2/3 of it on the plate when we left. Again, I'm not a food aficionado by any means. I simply cook at home and try to forth an effort when cooking. It was Friday night, we decided not to cook and to go out to dinner instead. We regretted not cooking ourselves. We would have definitely had better food had we cooked ourselves. I was generous and gave 2 stars because our waitress was great...wish I could remember her name. Too distracted by the food. I also liked my beer.

Highly recommended for unpretentious dining. Go here for a decent selection of drafts and a juicy burger. The quintessential American meal can't get too much better than The Grid. They even had live music- a saxophonist who added mellow vibes to some popular tunes. The fries are ordinary so opt for the "giddy fries" with caramelized onions and enough gooey cheese to make them absolutely decadent. You will need to put another 30 minutes in the elliptical in the morning for that dish but that they do make for a great evening. There were only 2 waitstaff (one a bartender) to serve the whole restaurant, but my waitress was super nice and without too many patrons (around 8pm) it wasn't a big problem.

A great location for a small restaurant, but the portions do not compare to the price you pay. Food: My girlfriend and I had the calamari. The calamari is seasoned differently then most places that I have tried. It has a fusion of Asian and Indian flavors. The dipping sauce is pretty good but I could live without the appetizer since it was too expensive. Service: The full bar is perfect! It has some of Sacramento's local breweries and most liquor. The person who takes your order may not be the one who delivers your food. The staff works together so well. Ambiance: It is in located in downtown right by Dive Bar. It is right by the parking garage, perfect for anyone struggling to find parking. The owner works hard and made a great place for food in an area that is filled with bars and clubs. But I would reconsider the menu that is put out and how much each dish is priced.
