Really wasn't feeling the vibe in this place. I'm sure it's great, just not my cup of tea.

Spoiled octopus, out of most items upon opening, one item took so long we cancelled it. Over priced and spoiled overcooked food, this is unacceptable. Service was okay but new chef is needed and get someone in charge or ordering who knows the job

Slow service due to limited staff. Food was not as good as I thought it would be. Octopus was very overcooked. I would give it another try in case it was just an off night

Went here with a group of friends for Sunday brunch, we were the first ones there when they opened. It didn't get really busy, we were the only guests there until we left. Service was fine, food was fine. We got a mimosa carafe, they only had cranberry and orange juice. Maybe social media hyped this place up, and potentially why we had higher expectations as far as the vibes and experience.. However, it was fine.. we ate, we sipped, then we went next door to barwest.

This place was such a big letdown. Felt way more just like some random party Sports bar. Then a tapas bar restaurant. Any place to ask you for your ID at 5:00 p.m. when you're just looking to have dinner Is not a restaurant. So I just bought a drink and left.

I’ve always loved this place back when it was the Red Rabbit. The vibe was great, the customer service was top-notch, and the food and music were fantastic. Unfortunately, after my recent visit this past Saturday night, I’m NEVER coming back here!!!
I arrived to meet a friend who had been sitting on the patio for about 10 minutes. When I went to the entrance and tried to show my ID to the bouncers, they told me I had to wait five minutes. However, when I pointed to my friend who had only been there for about 10 minutes, they claimed she had been there for a very long time, which wasn’t true. When I walked over to my friend to tell her I couldn’t get in, the same bouncers let in another guest without any issues.
It’s hard not to feel like my complexion played a part in why I was turned away, we can't forget this is Sacramento; especially since they allowed another person in right after. My friend and I ended up at a different location, and they were more than happy to take our money with great customer service.
I don’t know if the management is still the same as when it was Red Rabbit, but if it is, please take note of this experience, and if isn’t the customer service at entry is 🗑️

Restaurantji Recommends
Visited the restaurant for an event and enjoyed it. Staff was very helpful, and parking was surprisingly free and convenient for this part of Sacramento. I will say, drinks are VERY STRONG. They cannot be accused of watering them down :)

Loved the cocktails. The vibe is also pretty amazing inside and outside.

Absolutely pathetic garbage service. 15 mins just waiting at the podium to get seated. Another 10 to 15 mins just to get a drink and the “restaurant” is empty. Pathetic service and shameful staff training. Never coming to this joke of an establishment again. How hard is it to pull a tap and pour some beer ? You people deserve to have this place to go out of business. It’s already halfway there won’t be long before it’s shuttered.

We thought this place just opened based on how empty it was on a Friday night, but apparently it’s been open for a year… well, after eating the food, it makes sense:
- pork belly: really chewy
- short ribs: dry
- flatbread: salty but the crust was good
- wings: good, but you can get better wings for cheaper
For the price, you would expect better food.

Came here for the first time last Friday. I'm surprised this place wasn't slammed packed. The atmosphere, the food, the service, music and cleanliness was 10/10. I made a reservation but didn't need it. My friend and I sat at the bar. Our bartender was Amanda. She was fun, friendly and makes amazing drinks! I initially came here because I am a sucker for a Happy Hour and this place did not disappoint! EXTENSIVE menu, nice portions, and the HH timeframe is convenient unlike other places. I would recommend this for a datenight or a girls night out for sure! Ask for Amanda!
