Went to Melting Pot as a part of Sacramento's “Dine Downtown” program. Hadn't been in twenty years. Great value for the money. Made a reservation and was seated right on time. Food was very good. Our server Jacob made the experience all the better. Will definitely go back!

The whole dining experience was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend adding on the cheesy double dippers and the chocolate double dippers as they just bring a meal over the top with amazing flavors that you never thought would go together. It's like a party in your mouth !

Great novelty place for folks who are interested in cooking their own food. The cheese fondue was fantastic and my mom and I really enjoyed the place. We went on an early seating before the dinner rush on a weekend. We also had a reservation which worked out nicely. Ensure you have them validate your ticket to save parking money at nearby city lot. We had some difficulty finding the place, which is why I am downing their star. I liked the dipping sauce options although I only really liked one of them, which is another reason why I'm noting this. Lots of variety on the menu and great for Dine Downtown event in January.

Grace, our server was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and knowledgeable. The music choice coming from the bar was odd, 80's rock? It didn't fit the vibe of the restaurant. The staff should be reminded to keep their conversations at the bar with each other down because we could hear them talking and laughing, it was a little annoying on top of the music choice. It was the afternoon so there were only 5 tables occupied, no customers at the bar so I think staff might have been bored and congregating.

We loved the fondue- both the cheese and the chocolate. Our server was very sweet and the price was acceptable. We went when they first opened and the front area was already dirty. The entree with the dipping of meat into broth was just okay. Wouldn't do that again. We also wished we got more food- we did the four course dinner and we wished there was more cheese in the appetizer and more veggies with the meat. Everything was okay. We'd go back for the experience and probably just order fondue.

The highlight of the evening was evolved around our extraordinary service. My goodness, how Jacob took care of us. He truly exemplifies customer service, attentiveness, and the personal touch to make the experience better. He even brought out chocolate covered strawberries, one for each of us. Amazing! Well, The Melting Pot will be in our future culinary experiences. I highly recommend coming here. You will leave happy and content. Bon appétit! 😊
