The New Yorker Deli

Was on vacation here a while back and decided to give this place a shot. Looked quite nice other than it could probably use some maintenance. Sandwiches were okay, but I could make the same thing at home for half the price and wait half the time. what was unacceptable was the guy in there was flirting with my wife!!!!! Just plain creepy

Just happened to find this place randomly. I was skeptical based on the location. Don't be fooled though the sandwiches are fantastic. I had pastrami. It was killer and the sandos are huge. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I live close by and have been a few times for lunch. The sandwiches are incredible. But even more so is the service! I got to know Flavio, the owner, a little bit and found that he was able to accommodate for my daughter's first birthday by making a six foot sub! It was an absolute hit and not only did it look great, but tasted incredible. We had three different types of sandwiches on the sub, two feet each. We had the "not so" little Italy, the Roslyn heights, and the Bronx bomber. They were all phenomenal, it was hard to choose which was the best!

The best pastrami I have ever had. Super legit. Calm place to eat outside, backs onto nature preserve. Just follow the signs in this gorgeous business park and open the door to a nourishing meal.

I was in town for a work conference and ran a Google search for restaurants near me. This popped up on my radar so I made my way over.

The food is fantastic!!! I ordered the Bayside sandwich and it did not disappoint! The chicken was cooked to perfection! Best buffalo chicken sandwich ever!

The outdoor seating is serene and a perfect spot to relax and take a moment to eat and recharge.

Listen to me....RUN do not walk! You will not be disappointed!

Located in the middle of a state office complex. Have to enter a gated parking area(free). The deli entrance door is non-descript due to state regulations. About the food ….. FRESH and DELICIOUS. Had the Tribeca sandwich….portions are large for the price charged. Also ordered a bfst sandwich to take out. Nicely wrapped and the bfst sandwich was equally huge. Owned by a welcoming friendly couple. It was a little difficult to locate the place but well worth seeking out if you’re in the area. Worth seeking out if you are in want of New York style bodega sandwich. Limited hours during the week. Recommend.

I ate lunch the other day at the New Yorker Deli and it was off the hook. The workers were so kind and polite. Being from the New York area they really bring the hospitality and vibe to California which I can’t find many spots like that. Really made me feel like I was at home and I would recommend everyone to try.

I came here because of the reviews and I gotta say, I'm VERY disappointed.
I ordered the Batery sandwich and the chicken was RAW.
I understand people having their bad days but raw chicken is unexceptional.
It was a hot sandwich and the chicken was very hot but raw.
The bread was soaked in balsamic and was very very messy.
My experience here was less than satisfactory for sure. Definitely grabbed a snack when i got back to the hotel.
I don't think I'll come back, maybe i was unlucky considering the reviews.

I had the most incredible lunch here the other day at The New Yorker Deli. The food was amazing and my new favorite spot. The Cubano Sandwich is simply delicious and highly recommend you try all their food! I loved the atmosphere and the staff was so sweet. If you haven’t tried it yet your are missing out!
