Holy crap this place is good. It’s on the back side of their building so be on the lookout for the signs pointing the way. I picked up the Left Coast Classic and my husband got a Taylor ham and cheese. Both were flavorful and huge! The picture is just the other half of my sandwich I could not finish. TLDR: go here for a amazing meal!!

As a huge fan of Katz’s Deli in New York, every pastrami sandwich inevitably gets measured against theirs. The New Yorker Deli is the closest I’ve come outside of New York—so close in fact, that it’s now my #1 choice simply because I don’t need to book a flight to New York to enjoy an excellent pastrami.

The bread was toasted perfectly—crispy on the outside, soft inside—and the pastrami itself was ultra tender and rich with flavor. Their Pastrami absolutely holds its own against the best.

I also tried the chicken salad, which was equally impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the balance of flavors worked really well together.

Even though I ordered takeout, the service was fast, the restaurant was spotless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The attention to detail, quality, and customer care really sets them apart.

If you’re craving a true New York–style deli experience without the trip, The New Yorker Deli is a must-visit.

FYI, the restaurant is in an office complex. Don’t let that fool you, if you do you miss a treat.

Hint: The restaurant is on the right side of the building. If you come into the complex and turn left to park, know that you’ll have a nice walk.

This is the best sandwich place in Sacramento. I swear they stuffed an entire turkey into the Forest Hills sandwich, and the layer of hot sopressata is the best I’ve ever had. The roll is the perfect delivery system for this big juicy taste of heaven: sturdy enough to contain its payload, and soft enough to invite you in for the next bite.

This place has no business being this good, I just had one of the best sandwiches of my life for a very reasonable price.

Amazing place! It’s somewhat hidden in a massive industrial complex. They had arrows guiding the entire time. Anyway, the food is amazing and cheap! I got the turkey bacon and egg sandwich and a can of Sunkist soda. The price was under 10 for the entire deal. Worth the money and value. The entire place is decked out in New York gear. From hockey to football and everything in between. They aren’t open Friday-Sunday. Worth giving it a try if you are in the area and looking to get a solid breakfast/lunch. The place is very clean and the customer service is top notch!

And when he said we'd go to The New Yorker Deli for lunch I about popped one up! The New Yorker Deli has been on my check list for some time, ever since Glarepont Figgleroy raved about it on his podcast. We finished setting up the Guns-R -Us booth at the Cal Expo a little early, and headed straight to The New Yorker, and had some Amazing sandwiches!

As a self diagnosed sandwich addict, the sandwich I had today was incredible. Got the Forest Hill from the weekly specials menu and it blew my socks clean off. I live 30 minutes away and this is going to be a problem for my gas tank because I will be going out of my way to get some more of this deli goodness. Thank you for such a great sandwich. Can’t wait for the next time.

Came across this lovely deli while vacationing. It was amazing. The customer service was top tier. The food was even better. Everything about this place was amazing. Highly recommend. The sandwiches will blow your mind. Definitely reminded of back home in New York.

New Yorker Deli has been catering our lunches for the past year now. I figured I would stop by to grab a sandwich for once and it was amazing! Good pricing, great staff and service. I got the Woodside sandwich, chicken was fried perfectly and the ingredients were fresh! Really good spot for lunch breaks if you're in the Natomas area

Their sandwiches are amazing! They better, bigger and taster than beach hut sandwiches! If you're thinking of getting a sandwich during lunch, go here! No complains, great staff, quiet location, perfect food!

The sandwich was MASSIVE, I couldn't even fit the whole thing in my mouth at once. I'll definitely get two meals out of it, and was so delicious. It took a while to find it though because I parked on the other side of the building. Then I sat in the very nice courtyard of the office park to eat.
