We definitely discovered a gem as we were new to the area. The service was excellent and attentive. I had a well crafted cocktail. (I definitely recommend their Manhattan if you are a fan of that drink). I took the recommendation of gumbo and was very impressed. Also the fried brie and their shrimp and grits that were part of our table's order —again impressive.

The service and food was excellent. The room is very live so a crowded Sunday brunch time was loud and a bit hard to have conversation. But, it wasn't so loud that I would avoid having a meal here in the future. I'll be back!

Went for dinner. Me and another guest ordered a meal with the same side dish (mashed potatoes). I tried both orders of mashed potatoes and they tasted different. Mac and Cheese tasted more like butter than like cheese. There was also a strand of hair in my biscuit. They replaced it, but unfortunately the biscuit was still a letdown. This is my second time visiting (the first time was for brunch). It is an OK restaurant but I don't have plans to return.

The wait for the server, the food, and then the check was a bit longer than expected. Also, the noise level was sort of high enough inside which made us have to talk a bit louder to hear each other. Overall good food and a pleasant waiter but having to wait a while for the food made it a slightly subpar experience.

The server was friendly, but unfortunately the service overall was terrible. We waited over an hour for our food, and the drinks were awful — even after sending them back to be “fixed,” they still weren't drinkable. 😖 The waffle was soggy, the beignets were burnt, and the meatloaf made me sick later that day. I was so disappointed, especially since The Porch used to have such a great reputation.

Went for the Vegan Chef Challenge and the two special entrees were excellent. This was complemented by a small but well chosen wine list featuring very fair prices. Great service. A very nice night out!

Our server was nice and did a fairly decent job. Our coffee was fantastic, so we were very optimistic for the rest of the meal. Our appetizer of fried green tomatoes was lacking flavor and salt. We then proceeded to wait over an hour for our 2 entrees, which forced us to rush eating our dinner in order to make our scheduled show after dinner. The shrimp and grits were decent. However, the fried chicken lacked flavor, one piece was over salted and the rest had no salt whatsoever. To finish we ordered banana Beignets to go... these were perhaps the most disappointing... extremely chewy and lacked flavor... in fact there wasnt even a hint of banana in the desert. Overall very disappointed, and will not be returning.

I didn't know The Porch serves dinner and we decided to go before a show at the convention center. The food and drinks were great and our server was so nice, and we enjoyed sitting outside. Definitely recommend!
It was of first time there. We went for our 35th wedding anniversary. We selected this place because of the great reviews. It did not disappoint!! We started with drinks and appetizers. Bartender definitely knew the assignment. The food was outstanding, the service was great. Server was very attentive. Can't wait to come back!

Great 1st experience at The Porch. 5 girls ate lunch outside. Waiter was super awesome, funny and witty. Appetizers, meals and cocktails were on point. Will definitely go back.

Not sure if there has been a change of Ownership... The food was not good (kindness way I can say...choose another Restaurant). The fried beets were salty and the sauce they were served with was essentially ketchup. The brisket / beef meatloaf was not good, nor was the greasy gravy. The mash potatoes were ok...I guess. Best thing on plate was the grilled corn. The biscuit was hard. Wait staff is nice.
