Great cocktails and music. The service has been excellent, minus a time or two when it was hard to get a server to come to us. Both of those times it was busy and we were seated outside, so maybe that plays into it. One of our favorite bars in town none the less, especially before going out or for an after-dinner night cap.

This place has a great vibe, came here a few times during the week when it was not real busy, it was a nice spot to enjoy a drink and enjoy to company as if being in a quite chill spot with company. During the weekends it is the a larger crowd. A lil longer wait to find a table but good environment. Last time we were in this spot it was busy bartenders were awesome and inviting. Floor services was a lil over it maybe we just showed up on a bad day fro the few we had interactions with that day. The only reason why I give this place 3 stars is the restrooms. The restrooms are uni-sex and smelled like urine. My wife when to use the restroom and with open toe shoes and long flow pants was walking in urine and bottom of pants slashed with urine. There was a bar down the street that was once top natch and turned to a bar I would not walk into any more do to the smell and how the service went dont hill. I hope the snug holds and maintains a higher standard.

I was referred over here by a very nice bartender from Shipwrecked! He did NOT disappoint in the recommendation!!! The place lived up to its name being placed in a tight, cozy back corner. You have to know where you're going, or you'll definitely walk right it! Inside though, it's very spacious! The bartenders/mixologists are INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and very welcoming! He made some drinks based on my personal preferences of Tequilas and Mezcals that were AMAZING! Then, he made a snack concoction to go with the drinks that were pure DELIGHT! I will DEFINITELY be back again!

We went to the Snug after the Nightly concert, and the vibes, service, and drinks were immaculate. Thank you to Mikey (our server) and Caleb (our bartender)! Our drinks were delicious, and we enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend for drinks, the service, and the atmosphere! 💖

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for a drink. The cocktail was FANTASTIC!!! The service was also great! Minus the one star because it was so dark inside. Because of the size of our group we sat at the couch and chairs in the back. It was so dark! We had to use our cell phone flash lights to see the menu. It was still pretty light outside and the only light was coming in thru the windows up front.
No attention to detail. Bad customer service. Bad attitude.

When The Snug opened I was there literally every day for 8 days straight. I was so stoked to have such a high caliber bar in Sacramento and 6 years later it's the same story. The cocktails are the best in town no question, fun and unique while classic and balanced at the same time. The staff is outstanding. It's a marvel to watch them make SO many drinks of such high quality SO fast. I can't recommend this place enough. This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.
