Fun spot to eat with friends. We got the $29 all you can eat. Tacos were good, got full on the second round.

Actually good tacos. Now I have two (!) decent spots in the grid after trying so many bad ones. Good birria with flavor, nice chorizo and carne asada, decent tortillas--that actually saw the grill--and good margarita. Red creamy salsa is good. Green could use some help. Mariachis for about $20/3 songs. Friendly service and breezy patio.

This location was Vallejo's for years and Thirty Four is a major step up from that. I had Quessobirria tacos and they were very good. I went with a large group and nobody was dissapointed.

Tried this place today after seeing so many good reviews and I was not disappointed at all. I didn’t get the manager’s name but she was amazing. I had an issue with one of the food items being overcooked and she immediately made it right. A lot of restaurants immediately think you’re scamming or they are super rude when you complain about anything but her customer service skills are amazing. The food was really good and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so comforting. I will definitely be back.

It’s hard to find a consistently good Mexican restaurant — but the quality of the food, the authentic seasoning, the wait time and the friendly service staff are always great here. This is hands-down one of the best Mexican spots in Sacramento.

Ordered the birria tacos plate. Food was not good. Service was slow. Food is not authentic as claimed or they just grew up eating bad Mexican food. Seems like the majority of clientele are not Mexican so they might have to make their food more bland for the customers. Skip this place if you want authentic Mexican food. Overpriced for what you get.

First two times I came to this place, I was standing and waiting almost 5 minutes before served. Today, I got seated relatively quicker than before. Took 5 minutes to come and take my order. After waitress took my order, she said she would be right back with my drink. About 7-8 minutes later, my food comes, but my soda never made it. So I get my drink another 5 minutes later, I was hoping to get a refill for this overpriced soda but the waitress never even looked my way. I feel the service could be better. But ultimately took to long for a simple lunch.

Have been coming here for years. I used to work downtown and my coworkers and I would go to get some downtime after work. We still meet up at the restaurant from time to time. Great food and drinks, great service (Sonia is the best)!

Lunch time crowd. Low key, but good. Mars was on point.
The quesabirria.... Yummo. If you like spicy food, the orange hot sause... wow.
Their tomatillo green sauce is also really good (I just like crazy spicy stuff.)
Great place.

The Ramen was very good and very spicy, 4/5. The beans and rice were 5/5. The enchiladas were good, it had good flavored chicken and soft tortillas. The taquitos were dry and over fried and too crispy (overcooked). The anesthetics are alright, defenetally could be improved on. The service was very fast and it had yummy water. It was 50/50, half of us (out of 4) said they would recommend it.

Service, atmosphere and food are exceptional given the price point. Portion size is generous and the food is fresh. Can't go wrong with this place.

I stopped in at 5:40 on a Wednesday night to order a quesadilla to go and maybe have a beer. The lady bartender immediately said we're closed when I walked in. No sorry or no what I can get You... There were about 20 customers in the bar at the time. I'm a previous restaurant owner and first I'm wondering who closes at 6 on a Wednesday and why? Even so at 5:40 you're still open so why turn people away without even asking why they came in. This lady bartender was rude and more focused on leaving before the posted closing hours than on my business or the reputation of the restaurant. I went to El Rincon, a little hole in the wall in midtown and received excellent service and a delicious quesadilla to go.
Thirty Four... Shame on you

This place is awesome! They have friendly staff and delicious authentic Mexican food :) Very good air conditioning indoors during the summer.
$3 chips + salsa with free refills for both. Fresh chunky salsa is a little watery and a bit spicy but tasty. Overall delicious! Super tasty/flavorful Michelada, ($8) one of the best I've tried. The spicy birria ramen was phenomenal! The carne asada torta was a bit dry and the crunchy cheese didn't pair as well but overall tasty. Prices/Menu June 2024
