Out of all the places I have tried French toast, Tower Cafe has the best one!! Crunchy on the outside and gooey but fully cooked in the middle.

The food was amazing, the outdoor atmosphere felt like you were in a jungle, the interior of the building was so eclectic that I’ve never seen anything like it. The service on point. I am bummed that we don’t have a location like this in San Diego.Parking: The parking steps away from the front door, but doesn’t impact the experience at the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: The staff was very helpful with the kids.

BEST ECLECTIC VIBE!!! This restaurant is like being in a museum....incredible collection of interesting stuff!!!We thoroughly enjoyed our bloody mary's before brunch. Is our table ordered a Burgers pancakes, Potato salad, Polynesian guacamole....everything was super good.Service all around was excellent. This place is worth the wait, get it on your list!❤️Parking: Street parking

Undercooked French toast. Yes, not just wet, oozing eggs. Couldn't eat it. Drove a hundred miles for this mushy "famous" French toast. My husband always orders Eggs Benedict but they changed to using corn muffins instead of English muffins. So he ordered Blueberries pancakes. 4 berries, in a dry cornbread muffin shaped as pancakes. Even doused with syrup, still inedible. Sigh. Gotta find another favorite and stop telling people to go here. Bummed.

Tower Cafe became a favorite when I moved here 25 years ago, and remains my go-to place for good food, good service, and wonderful atmosphere, indoors and out! The shaded garden dining area is a year-round pleasure, and the eclectic art from around the world displayed inside creates an endlessly fascinating environment. Plus, I've never had a dish I didn't like there! Easy to find, easy to park in the large lot shared with the theater, Perfect for a tete-a-tete, or a gathering of family and friends.
