Was very excited to try this place, but my excitement was quickly overtaken by disappointment. The place is very small and loud. There was a group of teens there shouting at eachother across table.
Then, the food came. The chicken had a bloody gunshot wound. They try to fry the food as quickly as possible until it's JUUUUUUUUST done enough that it might be edible. As if that weren't enough, I found out the 9 piece is 3 drumsticks, 3 wing drumettes, and 3 wing flats. Dont expect much in the way of flavor either, you'll be dissapointed.
The only bright spot was their onion rings are pretty good.
Skip this place and go to Bonchon.

This place is not real Korean food I ordered from door dash the bibimbap had barely any meat. The Korean fried chicken was NOT fried. It tastes like wanna be Korean fried chicken.

The food was absolutely delicious! As a Korean, I can say it tasted just like home. The service was also incredibly friendly! 😊 I highly recommend this place.

I ordered chicken to go and tried three chicken option's Original, Soy and Garlic, and the Spicy (Maip Dak)… all of these options were delicious and to my surprise they give you a variety of full drum size chicken legs and small sized chicken wings. My partner and our close friend enjoyed these wings over wine and a movie.
The service was dialed in and the waitresses were very polite. The atmosphere reminded me a lot of a small business in Korea. It has good vibes. I’ll definitely continue to comeback.

Highly recommend, especially for the late night cravings :) All my questions from the menu were answered. Really liked the atmosphere here. Customer service was great! I shared with my partner the special plate with the banchans and rice, and I think we were intentionally given 2 small bowls of soup instead of just 1.
I thought that was really sweet and the entire meal was delicious- just what I would expect from a Korean fried chicken spot! Good to know there’s a reliable one close by so I don’t have to drive out to Rancho for good
food. Would definitely go again in the future :)

Got the S2 special with a veggie kimpap on the side. Both dishes were made fresh, and were so tasty and beautiful. I would definitely come back. Thank you!

My first visit to TTe Bong Ee was a delightful experience! The food is incredibly tasty, and the service is top-notch. I highly recommend asking for Kelly she made our visit even better.
Amazing seafood soup and chicken wings! The portion sizes are big and come with lots of extra sides. You won’t leave hungry. One of my favorite spots in natomas. Staff is always nice too.

Couldn’t finish my kimchi spam fried rice because it was somehow both flavorless and overly salty. The only redeeming factor about dining here was the nice server.

By far the worst Korean (if you can call it that) food I have tried to eat. Way way over salted and no korean flavors. This goes for the kimchi fried rice, all sides, and fried chicken.

The fried chicken was crispy but lacked flavor eve compared to generic KFC. Despite the generous portion size (9 big chicken pieces), the high price didn't justify the bland taste. The accompanying sauce, described as tangy mayo, was disappointingly small and underwhelming. It definitely needs a barbecue sauce or something more flavorful to enhance the dish.I might consider giving this restaurant another chance, but I'd certainly opt for a different menu item next time.
