There is no WiFi . So those of you who want to work with your laptop , I’d not recommend this location

Walking in, and the open concept with vibrant artwork and writing on the tables gives off a hipster vibe— very artsy. But then you order your coffee, and the cashiers don’t have a welcoming attitude at all. It wasn’t even all that busy, you all couldn’t offer a smile to a customer? Honestly, it’s not something I would usually pay attention to, and I might have blown it off except I got my coffee and it sucks… so bad. I got a vanilla latte and it’s so Bitter. There’s also maybe 5 outlets in the whole store? Ugh, I won’t be coming back

The café is spacious, which is nice, but the prices are higher than average — for example, a cappuccino costs $6, about a dollar more than in most places. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant smell inside, which really affected the experience

The coffee offerings are excellent. I would like more variety in the food options.

Service was friendly but slower than other similar places.

They have indoor and outdoor seating.

The shop is nice, but the coffee is acidic and the staff are surly.

Cute clean spot to meet and have a delicious coffee. I do wish their chairs were more comfortable. Outside seating options are available.

Parking: Sometimes busy including other businesses so parking lot can be crowded and is small.

I Did a little research on coffee shops that stayed open later. (Tupelo coffee & roasters stays open until 11pm) I Found this coffee shop online and decided to head over for a late evening matcha! The matcha wasn’t as sweet as I was hoping it would be but the added toppings made it Yummy! So including the convenience of time, I also loved the setup of this coffee shop! There’s a mixture of tables and sofa seating inside and the space itself was quite large which I love so much in coffee shops! There was space outside as well but as we head into the winter seasons that’s a lot less ideal around this time. I will probably visit this coffee shop in the warmer seasons so I can check out their outdoor seating. Going later in the evening also allowed for a non packed sit down smooch and that was quite lovely!

To me the a bowl of Soul is the star here.
A popular place for local university students to study/hangout. I also really like their Matcha- not the Starbucks instant powder version thankfully. Parking is quite tight. However if you go to CSUS it’s an easy walk or bike ride

Not A Lie

Got a delicious Mexican hot chocolate with a pumpkin Danish. This places never dissapoints. Love the drink options, snack options, calm vibes, soft music, and that it doesn't get too loud.

How can you call yourself a coffeehouse when you always run out of products, such as dairy milk, honey, etc? It is always the same guy who says you can't make a mocha because you ran out of supplies. This is the fourth time in a month. I have seen you lose customers because you don't open on time, and you are unable to make certain drinks you offer. Is it really that difficult to order extra products so you don't run out?

$6.00 for a 12 oz mocha is a rip-off. It costs around 85 cents for that size. At this location, we use to get a 16 oz Aztec Mocha for $6.00, now you only get a 12 oz for that price.

Tupelo has like three baristas who really care about what they do and are friendly, the rest almost never smile.
Starbucks is just two hundred feet away from Tupelo, and is open on-time everyday and rarely runs out of supplies. This is no way to run any business. Maybe what the area needs is a coffeehouse that genuinely takes care of their customers. What you really need is stiff competition!
