Meh. Coffee is fine. I ordered a drip. Service from the person at the register was subpar and subtly condescending. Too many wobbly or kind of dusty/dirty tables. Chair backs felt awkward and unsturdy. Person on a business call on speaker was the cherry on top. I will chalk it up to an off day but with all the good options in town I'm not sure if I will return a second time, as first impressions were not great...maybe for a quick coffee to-go but not to sit in.

I tried the toast and jam latte on Friday and the taste was definitely accurate. I think they used half & half and blackberry syrup. I enjoyed it but would try something else next time, I think they use Monin syrup here so the fruitier flavors aren't my favorite but they have so many options I'll likely come back and try another flavor. It was late in the day Friday but still pretty busy. Lots of seating inside and outside.

When I walked in there was a line of people but they were wait for their orders. My order was taken quickly. They explained they have a light roast for the pour over which I am a fan of. The young lady also explained that it would take a while till it would be ready. I thought that was kind of her to let me know. I personally often order a pour over so I am aware of the time but I thought that she cared enough to mention it. There was plenty of people on their laptops enjoying their coffee and pastries. This seems like a very nice place to relax and get some work done. Parking is the only down side.

Great space inside! Parking lot is super tiny. Street parking available. Plenty of tables available. Noted lots of outlets as needed. Outdoor seating available and wifi is strong. Bonus that their playlist was a hit. Didn't even bother to put my earphones in. House drip was yummy! I did notice that patrons waited longer than usual for their drinks to be made. 1 barista with constant flow of customers. Not sure if it was busier than usual that day but noted more than a handful of customers getting impatient with waiting for their drinks.

This used to be a go-to for me, but the drinks, cleanliness and ambiance have changed to where I will not be returning. :( I decided to give this spot another chance a few months after one bad experience. This time, I ordered a latte that tasted subpar, but not $8 worth. The music was playing so loud that I could barely hear the barista when ordering. I kept thinking they would turn it down, but if anything it got louder throughout the time I was there. I love a good 2000s alt rock playlist, but blasting it while people are trying to have conversations, work on their laptops, etc. just killed the vibe for me.

Had a less than mediocre experience here. Came on a weekday and the place wasn't busy. Went to order and were told they were out of cups for dine in. The bowl of soul is unique. My friends drink wasn't great either. Ordered two pastries and they didn't offer to warm them up. Overall the service was lacking and all the tables were very sticky.

I have been trying all of the coffee shops in the Sacramento area to find a new regular hang out. I will not going back to Tupelo again. The coffee was not that good. The pastries not exciting. Probably would have been better warmed. But the service was not good. The person helping us did not know the menu. Did not put half of the order into the persons making the expresso beverages. Most of the places that serve pasties will either heat them up for you or have a microwave so you can do it yourself. The person helping seemed offended that we had asked.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in town: spacious, nice vibe, plenty of seating. The staff is usually friendly and helpful. Good coffee. My only complaint (reason for not giving 5 stars) is that the bathroom is often closed, especially towards the end of the afternoon. It's either cleaning (3 hours before close??) or out of service. Please fix this !

Really enjoyed the jam and toast breve! The workers were a mixed bag the initial person who took my order was let's say less than happy that I had questions about the menu and was much more interested in talking to there partner who had come by to drop off some food for them. Thankfully someone else ended up stepping in after that to finish my order and make my drinks. Overall good coffee and great creative selection but some workers can be a tad off putting at time

The coffee here was decent, however I noticed a very offensive photo on display at this coffee shop. There was a blasphemous photo mocking Jesus Christ, which was very disrespectful and hurtful towards myself and other Christian's. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but I can't support a business who stands for disrespecting a religion in that manner.

This is my favorite place to meet friends. The atmosphere is so inviting with their pretty wood seating. And their bowl of soul is the perfect beverage for deep and conversations with friends. And then I always get a coffee to go (so many fun and exotic choices) so I can amp the rest of my day.

Nice alternative to Starbucks. Parking is better. Updated the store with new art and fresh paint and tile around the front counter. Placed the menu board to the left of the counter so it's easier to read. Naked coffee stores all seem to have good friendly staff. Better place to sip your coffee and relax than the Starbucks next door.

Journeyed up to East Sac this morning. Checked out @tupelocoffee and sampled my standard order of an iced VL. It was a quality drink, not overtly sweet but still had that taste of espresso/vanilla/cinnamon I need. I also sampled their blackberry jam iced latte. Tasted some hints of the jam but a bit too much on the sweet side for me but I wanted to try sumpin new. Ample patio space in front, spacious inside with huge wooden slabs providing back support, and a friendly barista. I wavered between and 3 & 4 stars. I'd have to try more on their menu. Check it out if you're in East Sac. #tupelocoffee #eastsaccoffee
