Coffee is always good. Don’t order the pastries…tasted store bought. First time I went the guy actually brought the drink to my car…customer service is better than most.
This cafe is at the heart of Uptown Sacramento aka DPH. They are constantly thinking of ways to serve the community and foster a community of arts and culture that genuinely impacts the neighborhood. They are paired with Sac Youth Center and really care about coffee. If you are looking for a place with a mission that serves the community it resides in this is it!
Very attentive andFriendly service
Great cold brew!!
It was a great event because I learned there is delicious coffee here. As well they house made their own syrups and cafe food in house.

Austin is a talented multi task barista who makes drink and eats too. He was explaining how he makes his own quinoa burger patty. I love the menu for the food and must come back and try soon. Love the vegan and vegeterian options.

I had the matcha oat latte with pumpkin cream cold brew. The matcha is sourced from k and k chai in Folsom which is one of the best matcha powder. The pumpkin cold foam wasn't too sweet and was great. Loved the refreshing matcha drink.

Overall if you find yourself in the arden area come check it out. There is lots of parking spaces so it was easy for parking. Love the cafe set up with tons of space to relax and work remotely. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more.

Excellent service and the drink recommendations are spot on
The first time I ever stopped by this coffee shop I got a hot americano! It was 10/10. It’s been a few months since that first visit and this time I’ve been having iced americano with almond milk. The espresso is consistent and I love it when my drinks taste exactly as the last time!!
Food was great. If you’re a bagel person I recommend it. It’s the blvd.bagel, the brekk.ito is a breakfast burrito. Would be great with some hot sauce. The latte was delicious and the 2oz espresso was super strong even with a splash of milk and sweetener.

Only one experience in the space, so far. But I really enjoyed it. According to the person who served me, chai mix is made in house. It was very tasty, and a great balance of sweet and spicy. Fair amount of seating, board games are available, and it feels spacious. Parking may be an issue. I was there on a Saturday, there was no street parking available on the major street. That was fine enough; parking on the major street is all limited to 2 hours. Actually, I realize that there were 2 events going on in the the other spaces of the building... That probably had something to do with it. Anyways, found some parking on a side street. Bonus is that there was no time limit. Saw one car with a smashed in window, though... May be something to look out for...
Parking: Closest parking is all timed.

It was a Thursday afternoon at about 1pm. I was searching for a cool new cafe near me online and Uptown Grounds looked really awesome. I took the time to take a bus (dont own a car), and was looking forward to a nice simple espresso. When I arrived, I casually walked in and the place was empty...and I mean EMPTY.... including the employees. I stood at the front counter waiting for someone to maybe return from the back for a long LONG LOOONG time. I said "hello" rather loudly twice...nothing! Ghost Cafe! It was really uncomfortable, so I just turned around and walked out disappointed. Ended up going to Starbucks instead.
