Huge portion sizes. If you get a burrito, plan on splitting it with someone, seriously. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm. I had a hard time finding any cheese on the nachos. The flavor was decent, but nothing to write home about.

Their food is generally fine. However, I did see them put my to go order in a styrofoam container into the microwave for 3 minutes. Also this was an order I had done at the register and not something I had called in for. Needless to say, my appetite was gone after that even if the people were generally nice.

I've been going to Vallejo's Posey Plaza location for 22 years. Quality has always been there. Large portions. The owner is often there making sure everyone is getting good service. The bar is great & the people tending bar are the best. Excellent place to have a party & can have small buffet set up. Salsa is always spot on. Love thus place.
I am writing this review based off my food only. I first came to Vallejo's midday when there were the usuals and all I ordered was a margarita. It wasn't very good, but very strong. Everyone was so kinda and it was a great atmosphere at the bar Went back home and wanted to read reviews and surprised by the 3 stars and realized it was their food. I wanted tot and my boyfriend for the drinks and the outdoor seating, not for the food. Different people, but same energy. We even went to the other Vallejo's by accident and they happily helped us to the right one. Everyone was so friendly that we decided to just share their nachos and order to 3 tiny tacos. The nachos were HUGE and so good. The asada was very flavorful and tender. The shorty tacos were not so good and that's why we had to drop the star. The margaritas the second time were a bit sugary. Also, there's a loud beeping sound across the street in the parking lot and it is very annoying.

Lovely olde world Mexican restaurant in the heart of the business area across from the Capitol. Nice outdoor patio dining option..Really good food and service..sadly very quiet due to lack of State and Government workers who seem to still be working from home. I can imagine this place being very popular pre-Covid. They seem to do a lot of to-go business which keeps them afloat

Vallejo's just completed catering a funeral service for us and they went above and beyond our expectations. Not only was the food super-duper delicious but just their overall service was excellent. Each and every employee who worked that day were all awesome. All of them with smiles. Bug thank you to Art and the team.
