All of the food was so delicious and was full of flavor! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants!

Updated review: I deeply committed to come back multiple times. My assessment is I don’t love their vegan beef, but I like their chicken. What I discovered I loved most though was their tofu! So my lesson is to make sure to try their different proteins, because they may resonate differently with you. Bumped up to 4 stars ⭐️ —- I’m so conflicted on 3 vs 4 stars and Happy Cow makes me pick 🙈 Good: - Boba! - All vegan restaurant that does an AMAZING job of replicating some dishes I never thought I’d eat again - endless options - the vegan meat was great! With that said, I can’t say I *loved* my food. But for all I know it was just what I ordered and maybe something else would be better. I’ll definitely be coming back and exploring more of their menu because I think there’s probably something here I’m going to fall in love with. Keep an eye out for an edited review😄 Updated from previous review on 2025-07-10

Food was fresh, hot and delicious! Definitely a must have if you have downtime waiting on the train. Glad I stopped in!

Excellent all vegan options.

I'm not a vegan but I enjoyed this food so much.

Rotting bok choy. Slapdash prep. Watered down... everything.

It was fast and vegan. But it seems like the place is not well-managed and struggling.

I would not go back unless I lacked other options.

I'm skeptical of some other reviews.

We had a nice meal. This was my second time visiting. A bit more salt in the food. We ordered a string bean and tofu, a pork w vegetables and a fried taro appetizer. It was all good.

I wanted to like it here more but everything was kind of mid Chinese food which is usually fine, but multiple dishes were too similar, for example, I don't think the kung pao should be basically identical in flavor to the Mongolian beef. Seemed popular so perhaps I just happened to have a worse meal than average.

Not somewhere I’d recommend based on service only

Vegan Mongloan beef was nicely seasoned, and came with plenty of good vegetables. It did not, however, taste like Mongolian beef. The Veggie Delight also was quite tasty. Portions were ample.

They have a huge menu but they aren’t very accommodating if you want to eat in. They don’t even have cutlery readily available. They don’t have extra napkins and are super stingy on salt, pepper, chili oil. I think they prefer you take food out.

Hidden fees. When I received my receipt I noticed there were two hidden fees. 1) Service charge of 15% for parties of 5 or more. When I asked the staff about this service charge, they said it was on the menu. It turns out that this service charge is NOT on the main menu when you walk in (which the staff member acknowledged), but only in small print on the menu next to the cashier. Given that it is not on the main menu, I would expect to not be charged for it, but the staff member did not agree. Even if the service charge was clearly labeled, these are usually reserved for places where you have a waiter and not when you are coming up to the counter to order food. 2) They charge you 5% for paying with a credit card. I am almost certain that credit card companies are not charging the restaurant 5% for credit card transactions. If these are clearly posted then I can choose whether I want to eat there or not, but they are only evident once you pay for your meal.

Order at the counter and either take food to go or dine in. Many authentic options!
