Vientos Mexican Grill

Was looking to try this place for a while since we're new to the area but was sorely disappointed after our experience.
We came in, Family of 3 at 2:30pm on a Sunday, stood by the wait to be seated sign for a few minutes, was greeted then told to sit anywhere, we chose a simple booth next to other diners. Menus were given promptly by their host/busser helper lady (she wasn't one of the servers). But after that we were not acknowledged for about 20min and the same lady finally asked us what we wanted to drink, still no server at this point. Tow orher parties came in after us and were waited on and recieved their food before our order was taken. After observing that we still got no acknowledgement for almost 30min and then our order was finally taken. That server that took our order never came back the rest of the time and she even left for the day without saying anything. No other server checked on us the entire time and passed our table many times until they we ready to clear our table then they got us boxes and the check.
Complete disregard and unawareness for their guests will keep us from returning.

We just came here for dinner and it was super disappointing! They automatically added an $18 tip to the bill with no great service to go with it. Also, they brought my husband a refill for his Dr Pepper (which he didn’t ask for) & then charged us for it. They obviously just care about the money & nothing else.

Missed my freeway exit. Made the best of it. 11:30 wasn’t crowded for lunch. Parking was, as its at an extremely busy shopping center.

STAFF super friendly and fast with REFILLS. I go the asada torta with fries. Wasn’t too hungry so for me perfect. They are famous for their giant burritos the waitress said. Along with the fajitas, she added.

70% of the crowd is senior citizens. Peaceful & quiet in the inside of restaurant. They have a large patio too, surround by trees everywhere. If you love colorful restaurants this is also your place.

The food, service and atmosphere was good. I didn't enjoy my mango margarita. They don't do blended drinks so I had to have it in the rocks and the margarita was so thick. Not very tasty. Other than that, it seems to be a nice place to have a decent Mexican style meal.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and had a decent kids menu.

Should not be rated a 4.2 Paris coming from a person that likes to go to the reviews first I'm trying to help you guys out. They're very overpriced and I wasn't even able to finish a couple bites of the carne asada fries. Im a Mexican food connoisseur and this was below par for Authentic Mexican food. The pico de gallo, sour cream , and meat definitely wasnt fresh. The guacamole was brown. Don't bother you can find a much better authentic Mexican restaurant. Try Homeros they haven't let me down yet.

Wanted to love this place since we live 8mins down the road. The actual restaurant has neat decor and spacious. We came in on a Thursday evening around 5-ish the dinner hour. The establishment was busy, but doable for 3 servers or so I think. We were acknowledged at the front door after a few minutes to grab a seat from a gentleman. A few moments later 2 other woman came to our table, one wipe it down and the other to serve us chips salsa and took our drink order. We look at the menu for 5mins and new what we wanted. But here's were it went downhill..... It took about 20mins maybe a few minutes more to get our order taken, I actually told the young lady who was our server that we were ready. She said our server was busy at the moment. At this point I'm guessing there was actually only 1 server, 1 bartender, expo and busser. She eventually made her way back and took our order because he/ our server was busy running around.
Our food came out in about 10-15mins, then that was it. We never saw a server or busser again. I tried multiple times to make eye contact, which I was successful, but it was ignored. My husband and I even did the subtle hand up to try and at least get a refill of our drinks, which was acknowledged and never brought to us. Had to flag down a server for boxes... Had to flag down a server for check to pay. I understand being busy but to not table touch and at least say a simple "hey so sorry we're busy and short staffed, can I get you anything else to accommodate your meal?!"
My husband made a valid point, we're not regulars that's what they haven't came back to us. Will we try them out again. I would like to so I can have a better experience and give a more reasonable review. Other than that the customer lacked l, the food was ok and atmosphere was great.

OMG I finally found a Mexican food restaurant with real authentic Mexican food. The best chile colorado burrito ever minus beans & rice in the burrito. I will be back.

Pleasantly surprised! Had a business meeting here and was surprised by how wonderful the service was and how great the food was. Had a 2 item combo with shredded beef tacos! I will be back for sure!

I decided to order my birthday dinner to go for my family and I. I live 4 minutes away, and by the time I got home, all of the containers of food were completely soggy, had sauce on them, and they collapsed. 2 of 4 trays were upside down in the bag. I'm pretty disappointed in my birthday dinner choice. Despite the huge mess, the food was good.

Was in the area on Saturday night. This wasn’t our first choice, but it turned out well. I shared the carnitas plate and had a Chile relleno a la carte. First off, their chips and salsa were delicious! Id buy their spicier salsa if I could. The carnitas was very flavorful and the refried beans were good. I thought the relleno was a bit salty, but fine. I think if you’re in the area, this is a good place to try.
