The wait staff are always exceptional, but particularly Shobna and Lisle. I stay at this hotel once a year for a week, and they are always my servers. They remember me and treat me like royalty!
We lunched at Vines two days in a row with very different staff. Friday was slow and so was the service—very slow. But when we came back on Saturday it was a completely different staff and the service was fantastic. Both lunches were very good. We had the club and Monterey chicken sandwiches and I would recommend both. We ate inside and the restaurant is modern, quiet and comfortable.
buffet selections were fresh, hot food was hot, fruit was fresh and good. There was some confusion over made to order eggs. Once the eggs were served, they were not good. The manager made it all better by buying us our brunch. We enjoy the Sunday brunch every 4 months or so when we want to treat ourselves since it is a bit pricey. we appreciate their thoughtfulness in encouraging us to return by giving us brunch.
