This place is pretty low key. Very easy to get to (just off of Folsom) with plenty of parking along side of the building. The staff were friendly and offered us samples before deciding on our order. Our Gelato turned out great. Super delicious and yummy. I got an order of Affogato and that turned out awesome. Each (3 of us total) of our order was about $5.99 each. The dessert is a solid 5/5. Service a 5/5. Value to Price Ratio 4.5/5. Overall rating 5/5. If you’re in the area, stop by and grab yourself some dessert. You won’t be disappointed. I've been to Yume Gelato several times starting this year and wish I found it earlier. The gelato selections are always very good and are usually always a hit.I got a small cup for $5.95 and it comes with 2 scoops (1 flavor each) which is a great deal, especially for the quality. The flavors I got were Dulce de Leche /w Chocolate Fudge and Roasted Almond Dark Chocolate. The Dulce de Leche was a perfect balance of creamy, sweet, and slight salt. The Roasted Almond had a great nutty flavor with a non-overpowering sweetness (my girlfriend said it tasted like Ferrero Rocher).Parking may be hard on a busy day but they have their own lot with a decent amount of spaces to park into.Definitely recommend this place if you haven't been here yet!

The best time to go obviously is when it is cold and rainy outside! We each got a medium, each roughly the price of a pint, but you a good amount of dense, delicious, quality gelato and 3 different flavors. Worthwhile tradeoff! I would get all these flavors again. Mexican chocolate: This one mixed really well with the Blueberry cheesecake and then the peppermint flavors, but was also good on its own. Rich, a deep cacao, ever so slightly spiced. Like a darker milky chocolate with a few dark chocolate pieces. This was my number 1 choice. Blueberry cheesecake swirl: Better than some cheesecakes I've had. Smooth, almost yogurty but not in a weird way. I would get it again, but it would be one of the last choices. Peppermint: Fresh, cool bite. Not synthetic at all. It is a pretty powerful flavor that I don't think would mix well with all flavors. Some might think it is like a toothpaste, but we really enjoyed it. Again, would get again but it would be one of the last choices. Definitely mix this with Mexican chocolate!Eggnog: My partner said this was one of the best eggnogs he's had, though neither of us have had it fresh. It was almost a little almond-y, might have just mixed a bit with the almond gelato lol Like a good vanilla ice cream, but with some additional nutmeg spice. I liked this a lot, but I don't think I could eat a lot of it since it's such a rich and not varied flavor. Would get again only if sharing and with another flavor. Almond: I only had a little of this, but if you like almond you'll love this. Like the peppermint, it was very fresh, not synthetic tasting. A good almond extract kind of flavor. Sweet, slight zing? Excited to try more flavors! Please bring back black sesame.

I can't wait to go back to Yume Gelato. The place is absolutely adorable, excellent service and such a cool sweet vibe. And talk about delicious gelato. I'm a gelato snob, I lived in Italy for three months and ate gelato every single day (why wouldn't I right). When I came back to California I tried this gelato place in San Francisco and I was so underwhelmed that I swore off gelato for the next 30 years.Today with Yume Gelato my faith in gelato in California has been restored. I love this place so much I got one of their frequent customer cards and can't wait to get my free gelato.Such a cute place and definitely worth a visit for their yummy ice cream.

Recently tried this place and it was so good! Got the small size and I didn’t finish. A lot of flavors to choose from, my favorite was the Eggnog flavor. They have some dairy free flavors as well. Will definitely come back and try more flavors!

What a little hidden gem !! I am already craving more and can't wait to go back. I have a friend who lives close by here and I remember it was starting to open right before covid but I didn't get a chance to check it out, but low and behold finally got the chance to try this place. Walking in it's very mellow and quiet. Very "instagram" cute modern look and feel. They do offer samples so you can try as many as you want. Couple of flavors I was like eh but I ended up picking the Italian eggnog, coffee cheesecake, and cookies n cream. The girls working were super sweet and when I said I wanted a large she had doubled check if I only wanted the two flavors and i was like "wait, I can get a third flavor ?!" She said of course and then started recommending what flavor to combine with the two I've chosen. Now the flavor and quality of gelato. Superb! Super super creamy and not overly sweet. Although being very rich and filling it had a somewhat light fluffy texture. Now don't get me wrong I DO NOT think this is 100% REAL 100% AUTHENTIC gelato, but honestly who cares? It's more creamy and more milk like gelato. I appreciate also the unique flavor selection. Usually gelato places have the exact same flavors every other place has and doesn't feel new. This place provided unique new flavors that I can't wait to go back and try more. FYI they also do pints to take home if there is a flavor you really think you need a surplus of. For me it'd be that coffee cheesecake flavor I can't stop thinking about it.
