Any place I can customize my burger is good by me. Happy to support this hardworking Vietnamese immigrant family at this time of anti-immigrant hysteria in certain segments! $14 OTD for a combo with fries/drink.

Vietnamese sandwich is really tasty, inexpensive, and HUGE. I meant it was $8.00. I usually call it in, and it's always ready to pick up. These owners work very hard to feed us on the Sacramento area, and I chose to support them because without them, I would be spending 2x as much somewhere else.

A popular lunch time spot. It's a small mom and pop corner place that's more counter than dining area, but there is also some spaces right outside. Place is managed by a friendly, efficient duo. Definitely a contender to be a regular place for lunch.

Banh mi is probably the most popular order. Can't go wrong with the pork or chicken. It's not entirely authentic, and it's clearly enough advertised as such, but it importantly satisfies cravings. I recommend a side of fries; freshly fried hot, thicker than McD's, and a sprinkling of salt and pepper. The coffee is made surprisingly traditional, iykyk, and is condensed milk heavy which is unexpectedly fitting for those who want something less caffeine forward by noon and for those with a sweet tooth. The typical American dishes appear standard fare.

Overall: 5 stars because it's the go-to place in the immediate area in my opinion.

This is a mom n pop ran family business. It's just the both of them churning out the food, Monday - Friday 10am-2pm. The place is tiny and divey. Emphasis on the divey part. It's counter service with some outdoor patio seating. It's always busy during the weekday lunch with a line out the door. The line moves relatively quick though.

The menu has Vietnamese, Chinese, and American options with the likes of shrimp spring rolls, banh mi, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, Vietnamese beef stew, burgers, and fries just to name a few. Food is basic and tasty. Classic fare. I've had their banh mi, both the grilled chicken and grilled pork. $7.99. The sandwiches are loaded with meat and are a hefty size. The meat is tender with good flavor. The baguette is classic banh mi. Soft interior with crunchy, flaky top crust. Top notch, I have also ordered the Vietnamese beef stew. The broth is pretty darn tasty, it has the classic tangy bright profile. The chunks of braised beef is tender and fork shreddable. If you order this, just be aware it will take longer to prepare because they will need to heat a batch. They use a pot on the stove and not a microwave for that. The stew is served with a whole baguette, the same ones used for the banh mi.

This is one of those places where you'll eat the food because you paid for it and you don't have much choice because you need to eat. Made my first and last trip here today. How its getting 4 star ratings is beyond me, maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Service is speedy its really only a carryout. I ordered teriyaki chicken and fried rice. If there were no teriyaki sauce on the chicken it would be tasteless, and the rice tasted old and in some bites it was undercooked and extremely bland. Not many places in the area to eat, but this is one to avoid if possible.

It's an okay food from home. My grill chicken tastes like charcoal and fried rice it's also OK from home. But the location is great to eat outside. It's near a park

Recommending the pork spring roll -- it's stuffed with tender and flavorful pork with a nice char on it, in addition to crispy bean sprouts and lettuce, springy rice noodles, and chewy rice wrapper. The peanut sauce it comes with is a little spicy.
