We've had the best service when it's been a male server but Friday we had a tall dark haired lady and had the worst service EVER and she served our pizza COLD and we were the 1st people seated at 5pm.
Waited 1/2 hr for our salad and 1 hr and 15 minutes for our pizza. She served ladies that came after us for same pizza a half hr earlier. It was not busy either.

We come to Zelda's once a week, it's definitely one of our top pizza places to go to in Sacramento on a Friday night. The pizza itself is amazing and so delicious, and the staff is always super friendly. I highly recommend this place, if your ever in the Sac region, it's a great spot, to relax and just enjoy some good food. Thank you Zelda's for the good times. :)

This place is just the best you could go to in Sacramento for dinner and late night drinks. Everything is made of great quality ingredients and it feels like being part of the family immediately. Highly recommend. Owner works there every night, together with the bartender they are just the most amazing people to talk to. Whether you're alone or with friends they'll make you feel comfortable, THANK YOU! If I could put 6 stars I would

If Cheers and your favorite pizza place had a baby, it would be Zelda’s. Fun, friendly staff, amazing food and great drinks.

This place has the best deep dish pizza and the service was amazing. The new spinach pizza is one of the best I've had and I've been here 2 times now in last week with family and they have delicious food and amazing service . Also the atmosphere with the 80's feel is definitely unique. You want best pizza in town and around you definitely got to make this a part of your rotation for eating out you will thank me later!!

We came ever so close to losing Zelda's after covid. When Zelda passed, the restaurant was kept open by family. Her original pie crust deep dish pizza recipe remained. There was a recent ownership change and to my surprise the pizza recipe remains in tact, and many new food choices were added. Please be aware your pie will take at least 30 minutes to cook, but well worth the wait.
Currently they are only open for dinner.

About the coolest place you’ll ever go to in Sacramento. With chill vibes, classic old school music and some of the best service ever- Zelda’s is a must visit and also happens to have incredible deep dish pizza and now offers a gluten free option. Sure, the GF is not deep dish but it’s still delicious. We lived the Cesar salad which we split 3 ways. It’s really good! Can’t wait to go back!

I absolutely adore Zelda's - been coming here since I was a teenager. Too bad I now live on the other coast. The pizza is to die for, the crust is like crispy bread and it soaks up all the sauce. It's a little bit of a dive but that just adds to the charm IMO. Service is always friendly and familiar - everyone's family. I miss it horribly. Edit: trip back home and Zelda's is just as fabulous as I remember! So happy this icon is surviving!

No communication there at all. Called weeks before to make sure they had a gluten free option and they said yes. Night of a b-day party, we were told they didn’t. After several back n forth calls, they said they did but alittle too late. The gal in charge of placing the order had to order one from another pizza place n then go to two separate places, received a measly 10% off after promised 50% off, what a joke! 39 yrs I’ve been going to Zelda’s, I grew up in the Chicagoland area, but customer service is far more important than my loyalty to that place!
