Zinfandel Grill stands long, strong, and true. Get location, ambience, service and the food is excellent!!!
I can't believe I slept on ZG all these years. The food was amazing and I can't wait to go back.
Food was terrible. Pasta stuck together. Teh risotto was over cooked and the salmon in it was barely noticeable. The service was ruff. Manager and other wait staff stood and spoke loudly were everyone can hear and see
Food was good. Definitely coming back again.

I love everything I have tried on the menu! The mushroom salad is even better than it was back in the day.
While one of the more expensive meals I've had in a long time, the food was just magnificent. Salmon is so common and I love it beyond measure: yet the prep was just magnificent! Service was excellent - my niece and I had just a phenomenal time - we both enjoyed our meals immensely. I totally recommend this icon of Sacramento !
This was my first time dining here and my husband and I were celebrating are 1 year anniversary. The staff was very kind and the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend dining here especially for an anniversary or a date night out.

Our party of 8 ladies were in town for a conference and we had the best experience. Our server Gabriel was absolutely amazing, so kind, tending to our every need, making small talk, was super responsive and he made sure we were enjoying our meal. Give this man a raise! The atmosphere was fun, the food was fresh, and the drinks were delicious. We will definitely be back!
My husbands skirt steak was tough. I had the short rib on polenta and it was one of the best dishes EVER!

This is a nice restaurant. The food (short ribs and polenta) was a little rich for me but others really enjoyed it.
We were enthusiastically greeted by the hostesses, one of whom remembered taking our reservations. John was our exemplary server and he made sure nothing was left unattended. The food was absolutely amazing, each having a bite of the tables perfectly prepared food! We split two desserts - the creamiest, not too sweet Tiramisu and the blood orange sorbet was especially delicious and refreshing. We will be returning often! Hats off to Zinfandel Grill!!! -Janet Wilde

Very nice combo of casual and finer dining. Food was excellent, service good and the ambience comfy.
The short ribs with polenta was outstanding! The risotto with salmon not so much! Likewise with the Brussel sprouts. The burnt flavor overpowered the flavor of the sprouts itself. Our waitress, Erin, was great.
Waiter was a bit awkward. Everything else was wonderful!
