The food is very good went twice And the same young tall guy was there around 630 through the drive-through, I think his name is Jacob as stated on receipt he is just so nice and always in such a good mood. He is amazing he deserves a raise. He literally makes us want to go back. 😊

Good chicken sandwich, fries, and rootbeer quickly delivered after order. The rootbeer did not come out in a frosted mug, but it was less than an hour before closing so it makes complete sense. Customer service was excellent. It is a shame, after so many years, this A&W will be closing. The rootbeer at this location is of higher quality with better taste than other A&W restaurants, other than the Lodi location. I am going to miss this one, but not before i get my fix a couple more times. One of Americas best. Visit if you can before it closes. Maybe the owner will be selling memorabilia before closing.

A&W St. Helena: A Taste of Nostalgia Supported by Stellar Service Our recent visit to the A&W in St. Helena was an absolute highlight of our trip, providing not only excellent food but also a genuinely memorable experience thanks to the staff. The entire team was outstanding. We were super impressed with how attentive and friendly every member of the staff was, which created an incredibly welcoming and warm atmosphere. It's clear that customer care is a priority here. The food quality was equally excellent. We enjoyed the classic Coney Dogs and treated ourselves to the delicious Pumpkin Pie Shakes. For only $21, the value for such high-quality, satisfying food and shakes was fantastic. This stop was especially meaningful, as it brought back wonderful memories of my time working at an old-school A&W 32 years ago. It’s comforting to see that the standard of flavor and quality has so clearly endured. Capping off the visit, we purchased a half-gallon of the signature Root Beer to go, which was truly the perfect, refreshing ending to our St. Helena outing. Thank you to the A&W St. Helena team for the outstanding service and the taste of authentic Americana. We look forward to our next visit.
