Mike, our tour guide was super knowledgeable and the grounds were gorgeous! We learned a lot from him and he was a good representative of the estate. Unlike some female employees we encountered after our tour who were rude to one of the guests on our tour and another who was rude to my group. Otherwise it was a good experience.
Miss Linda and Miss Lisa, in the old bottling room were so kinda and attentive, gave us a lot of information about the establishment and the history behind the wine. Would recommend going and visiting them, the wine and conversation is exquisite
Booked a wine tasting tour and asked a little bit more the end of tour. I was never told I will be charged more for that amount of sputum of wine. When I got back home, I found that they charge me for the little more bit of wine. I had been in so many wine tasting and wine dinners. Never seen an organizer or winery owner stingy like that. Or at least let me know you will charge more before pouring more.
The cave tour and approach to a tasting along with the tour was a nice touch…the grounds with fabulous houses worth seeing, the wine was ok, but nothing special but worth the visit
I have never been to a vineyard before and this time I came to Napa, Beringer was the only vineyard I visited. Why? it is because their advertised open policy: they don't require their visitors to pay in order to visit their properties (and what a beautiful vineyard they have!), unlike for example Castello di Amorosa that have folks standing at the entrance to make sure you have a paid reservation. This is a great policy: although Beringer did not earn my business this time, Beringer as a brand left a great mark in my mind (I actually knew very little about it).. this will be worth much more than a paid commercial, who knows how many bottles I will buy in the future :-)
We visited Beringer last week on our honeymoon and it was wonderful! It was right next to our hotel, The Alila, so was a nice easy walk next door! The grounds are breathtaking and so much history! The tour was really interesting, especially seeing the original caves and engraved barrels. The iconic wine was even better than I expected and the house on the grounds is an absolute must to pop in and see all the richness in history it entails!
Love our experience here!
We loved our experience at the winery! Everyone was very nice & welcoming, and our tour guide David was amazing. Would highly recommend!
This was my first visit to Napa and was so happy we chose this vineyard! We did reservations for the Howell Mountain experience and Peter did an amazing job telling the story of the Beringer Bros and explaining each wine we tasted in depth. The grounds are beautiful and welcoming!
We were walk-ins and they were able to accommodate us for the red wine tasting @ $75. We sat on porch and enjoyed 4plus one glasses of red wines plus the charcuterie board($40) that you get to take home. Giselle was very knowledgeable and knew when to educate and when to walk away and give us time. It was a beautiful and relaxing couple of hours. Decent clean bathrooms outside.

We came in without reservation and were assisted by Andrew. What a wonderful personality with great knowledge and an amazing feeling for hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family, who are frequent visitors as my aunt and uncle live in San Francisco, and would love to come back soon. Thank you!!
The only winery in the area that has a problem with a sleeping 9 month child on site
This was a wonderful experience! Only the 30 mins heritage tour was available, but David made it an absolutely incredible tour and tasting. Seeing the cellar and learning about the winery’s history from someone so passionate and exited to share was spectacular.
Was up in Healdsburg for the day, and had to make a detour to stop by Beringer before heading home. The frozen wine coolers were a savior when it was over 95 degrees outside. We got there after the last tour ended, but got a table in the shade and drinks from Corey and Alyssa who continued to amaze with their friendliness and service. Worth a stop if you're in the area, very pretty grounds. Just was so hot outside this weekend
Firstly: David was our tour guide for the Cellar Tour. If you ever take this tour he is a must as your guide. I cannot begin to tell you the warmth that this chap exudes. I know we all read reviews about how wonderful people are when in these types of situations, but take it from someone who always has his curmudgeondy guard up 24/7…his ASMR approach and voice harkens back to a Sean Connery, “Shaken, not stirred” vibe.
Well, after that, the wine was fair—is what is to be expected from Beringer.
Again, David, you are simply awesome!!
