One of the finer tastings in the Napa area. The people make all the difference in tasting experiences. We had an enjoyable time touring the grounds and facility, and the setting for wine tasting was beautiful. I especially appreciated learning about the winery's commitment to organic practices. All the wines were memorable, and we'll be sure to share and serve plenty of the 2020 A.V.A. Cabernet Franc Blend for Thanksgiving.

The wines are out of this world and the best part is their sustainability practices are top notch. We went for a tasting today and were severely disappointed with the service. The host was unfriendly and acted annoyed at the most simple request of something like water. She poured us 3 glasses of wine and just left us at the table for the duration of the tasting. We couldn’t have bought wine even if we wanted to because an hour went by and we ended up just calling and Uber and leaving. We expressed our disappointment at the next winery we went to and our host there said he has heard that a lot about Crocker & Starr. There’s so many options in the valley, do not put this one on your list.

I had the pleasure of being hosted by Juan and had C&S booked as our first stop on our list of 7 vineyards and tasting rooms planned, this was our best visit. C&S provided us with a great selection and even a change of heart in my wine portfolio after tasting their products. Hearing the women lead history and seeing how the history continues to develop tastefully side by side with the property was heartwarming. You can truly see and taste how the production is driven towards top quality. My tasting experience was perfect, it was the perfect amount of entertainment from our host and also privacy to enjoy the wines with my partner, never had a moment where I felt rushed at all. This location was absolutely comforting and so memorable, I will definitely be visiting again.

I attended a wine tasting last night ant Atlas Bistro in Scottsdale, AZ - 5 Star experiance. The food was paired with some incredible selections of Crocker & Starr wines. Both the 2021 Post 1 Cabernet Sauvignon and the Estate Cab Franc were spectacular. We met Pam Starr the Co-founder/Winemaker. She shared her incredible journey and her passion for her craft was clear. I joined the C&S Wine Club and look forward in receiving the first case! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Our morning tasting and tour was an fantastic experience. Juan greeted me and my wife with a couple of glasses of delicious 2019 Brut Rose, then lead us on tour and tasting. We were fortunate to be there on one the last days of the 2023 harvest, so we we got to see raw grapes brought into the facility and processed. The wines were delicious and I highly recommend a tour with Juan. He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and an outstanding communicator.

Crocker and Starr is a true gem! I was introduced to it by a younger friend, and have been a fan ever since. Our family enjoys exploring some of the smaller wineries in Napa Valley, and Crocker and Starr stands out for its wine, its setting, and the people behind both. We had an opportunity to meet winemaker and co-owner Pam Starr during our most recent visit, and were so impressed with her approach, as well as her warmth. (I enjoy being able to support some of Napa Valley's amazing women winemakers.) We were also quite fortunate to be hosted by Cyrus Hazzard, executive VP at Crocker and Starr, who treated us to a spectacular tasting of their excellent wines while sharing the story of each of the wines we enjoyed. This all took place in a lovely, shaded outdoor pavilion situated amongst some of the best vines in the valley. You can avoid the crowds and fully enjoy the wine and the experience by visiting Crocker and Starr.

Crocker & Starr was recommended to us and we've been back multiple times. For the winery's 25th anniversary, they created a sparkling wine which is fantastic and they continue to produce it today. The experience is consistent: the wines are top-notch, the setting is comfortable and the hosts are very informative and friendly. The history of how the winery started is a story of two people who really love and are dedicated to winemaking. They produce some of our favorite wines - we've visited 50+ different wineries in Napa Valley since 2018. You most likely won't see big buses and wine tour vans in the parking lot, and while there are beautiful things to photograph there, this is not a winery for those only interested in getting beautiful photos for social media.
