My family and I have eaten at Farmstead many, many times, and the service, food, drinks and ambience is always great and a wonderful experience. The food and wine selections perfectly complement the flavors for an elevated dining experience. The portions are generous, especially the Heritage St. Louis Ribs and the California Arborio Rice - definitely shareable plates. The desserts are always on point. My favorite is the Scharffen Berger Chocolate Cream Pie - house made with a thick graham cracker crust and whipped cream. If you are looking for a true farm to table experience, showcasing fresh and flavorful ingredients from their garden, ranch and vineyards, Farmstead delivers. Price: $$$ Food: ***** Service: ***** Cuisine: American Farmhouse I highly recommend Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch!

The food is always good. I recommend the deviled eggs and a burger. The wine selection is always phenomenal. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Good setting for dinner with family, lunch with a girlfriend or date night.

Solid 3.5 stars for the price. Love the outdoor, dog friendly space. It's like a really high hoop house with shade. Loved the honey butter biscuits. The steak brunch was $50 and a bit tough but with really good flavor.

Great food and wine, but it was understaffed and took a very long time for our food and wine pairing. It's not the employee's fault. He was overworked. It just took a long time because of it.

Another amazingly delicious dinner at Farmstead! Never disappoints! The hostess fit us in without a reservation and the food was fresh and outstanding.

I love a good farm to table establishment! Every single item tastes so fresh and flavorful. If the ingredients don't come from their farm in the backyard, then from my knowledge it comes from a fresh semi local source. I've dined here three times and each time the staff has been amazing. My most recent dining experience was super chill. I had the California Arborio Rice with a sunny side up egg *Chefs Kiss* 10/10 would recommend. The lemon meringue was overshadow by the silverware. The spoon had a very heavy metal after taste so we just used our forks instead but the pie was still very delicious. The butter beans with the lamb was crazy amazing and really everything we ordered was a 10/10. If you're looking to splurge, I would definitely recommend dinning here. I can't wait until summer so I can take advantage of their outdoor dining!

This two star review is about some weird service we received: Planned a visit to Napa to celebrate my husband's birthday and chose Farmstead for dinner because we had been once before and been blown away by amazing, fresh food. We made reservations and arrived at 5:15, when it was not at all crowded yet. When the nice waitress came to our table I told her we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Every place I have ever eaten from TGI Fridays to the Ritz understands that when you drop "birthday" it means you will get a cookie or a dish of ice cream, maybe with a candle, and a "happy birthday" from the wait staff. Dinner: ordered drinks, appetizers, soup, and main course. Most was good. My tomato soup was incredible. My husbands ribs had a lot of fat and were dry. He asked the waitress for more sauce and it never arrived. I promise he was not rude when he asked. He worked as a waiter for many years and we both are always intentional about being kind and respectful to wait staff. End of the meal, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. I reminded her we were celebrating my husband's birthday. She gave a blank look. I asked, "what do you have on the dessert menu that's gluten free to maybe bring my husband who is CELEBRATING HIS BIRTHDAY?" She replied "not much...maybe sorbet." Appearing clear that Farmstead doesn't do "the birthday thing" for its customers (not a huge deal) I told the waitress that I just wanted to order him dessert. "Okay can you bring him a dish of sorbet or ice cream or something then?" She said, "Oh sorry we are out." Wait what?? It's Saturday, night, the main dinner hour has barely started, we have ordered a generous amount of food, and you're telling us you don't have a single tiny scoop of sorbet anywhere? Not even an offer to substitute maybe a small dish of fruit or cheese....BTW I never suggested this should be complimentary-was happy to pay. We paid our bill, my husband left a 20% tip, and went to the restroom. The waitress returned asking if we wanted a bag for our to-go boxes. It MAY have been me, but I swear it felt a little rushy. Just as my husband returned, he noticed the table next to us: there was a BOWL OF SORBET AND ICE CREAM sitting on it! We left with the worst feeling: we had apparently been lied to by our wait staff, poorly served, and my husband had had zero recognition of his birthday. We walked to Gott's and he got soft serve ice cream and a friendly, "Hey man Happy Birthday!" from the guy at the counter. UPDATE: Grateful for the effort made by the restaurant manager in the form of voicemail and email to contact me and offer a sincere apology. It sounds like they do take customer feedback seriously. Hoping this may be a good learning experience for service staff going forward.

Food was delicious, even got a cocktail and dessert. One bit of advice , please do not serve a metal spoon with your Lemon Meringue Pie..... horrible taste. The acidity of the lemon pie with the metal spoon.. is overpowering the taste and essence of the lemon meringue.. farmstead, please try for yourself, so you understand what your serving your guests. Thank you

Food was fine but we were seated 25 minutes after our reservation! And then waited a very long time for our entrees to be served. By the time we left it was almost 3 hours later! I just don't think this is reasonable especially after making our reservation weeks in advance. It would have been nice if the staff had done what they could to have our meal prepared without delay and/or to be offered our wine or something comped to make up for the wait.... Very Disappointing!!!!

Awesome place to dine great ambiance , service was excellent even though it was extremely busy and the food was out of this world . Definitely will revisit the place when I travel to the area .

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch here. Do not skip the mini ham sandwiches!! Not something I would normally order but man were they tasty! Service was great. They went above and beyond for the birthday boy we were with. I can't wait to come back for brunch.

It's crab season in my area and Farmstead has a special entree serving an enormous, meaty crab that has been run through the wood fired oven. That's just the beginning of how they make it the very best. I called ahead this morning and Ken assured me it was still on the menu. Yay! When I arrived, my favorite server, Molly, recognized me by name and hugged me. Wow! She remembered that I like a Sazerac to begin. You bet! I've learned, the easy way, that an appetizer is not needed when the crab is such a large portion. The Farmstead Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect wine to drink with the crab. Molly brought all the napkins and utensils I needed to enjoy cracking open the shells rich with crab meat. And a lemon hot towel at the end. I felt like a favored aunt! And when crab season is over, they'll have something else delicious and worth the drive .

Service, food & ambiance are excellent. Every dish we had was delicious. We started with the mini ham biscuits. grilled artichoke & butternut squash soup. Entrees Filet of sole, Pulled pork sandwich & Green rice. Meyer Lemon pie, ice cream & beignets for desert. Also had an excellent LMR Pinot. Our service was great. Only improvement would be better coffee. There are a lot of restaurant choices in the area this is one of the best!
