Freemark Abbey Winery

World class red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignons. In years past we’ve done vertical Cab Sauv tastings here. On this trip we stopped in unannounced and the server was so accommodating and attentive. She was super knowledgeable about the wines and history of the property. And what a job to have…selling a product that literally sells itself. We ended up buying a few bottles of their liquid gold. The amazing building & tasting room were elegant & classy. A must stop for fine wine lovers.

Disappointing that no one is available to pick up the phone or email back about making an reservation for a tasting

My friend and I visited on a Monday. Alex fit in our tasting same-day and was a really tremendous host. Very enjoyable to try the different wines and hear his tasting notes.

Beautiful and great wines

Great fun to do in unusual wine tasting that was a side by side comparison. I really enjoy the opportunity to try a hundred percent cabernet versus a hundred percent my merlot. Thank you Grace for a great experience

Tasting, winery

I’ve been to Freemark a handful of times and Kim has shared her vast knowledge of wines each time. She elevated the experience from great to excellent, and I feel like I got to know the wines on such a personal level.

Had another pleasant experience today - typically I don’t leave reviews until I’ve had that consistent level of experience and service, and I felt like it hit that mark today being at the winery for the 5th time.

Kates been shadowing the past few times and has been great at picking up the knowledge and expertise in cabs, and wine making in general. Talk about a great addition to the Freemark family!

Well more or less, the wines are OK, the property is beautiful but the tour is very short and takes you to a room at the back.

Did the wine trolly tour this was our first stop, favorite place we visited all day! The hospitality from arrival to leaving was amazing! The wine was also the best we had all day! They may not be the biggest but they are the best! Highly recommend when next in Napa we will sure come here for a private tasting! Thank you for a great morning the Brits loved it …. 08/26/23

Todd is amazing!!! Facility is beautiful. Just don't bring up the topic of "Oysters"...lol!
