They were super attentive to my dairy allergy!
One of my favorite restaurants in Napa Valley!!! Consistent food every time I come and the staff are efficient and pleasant. Dishes are good servings and very favorable and balanced.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala Thali, and it was everything I hoped for—gently spiced with a touch of sweetness, made with incredibly fresh ingredients, and clearly cooked with care. The Naan was also outstanding- soft, warm and perfectly made. It reminded me of the comforting, soulful food we’d serve at home.
My daughter had the Veg Momos - good in flavour but the real standout was the exceptional chutney that accompanied it.
The staff were kind, professional, and attentive. The overall environment felt welcoming and genuine. A wholesome, soulful experience I’d recommend to anyone looking for real food and real warmth.

Had the pleasure of joining my friend Unnati and her daughter Heli for lunch at this hidden gem. I ordered the Coconut Tofu Mushroom Thali—light, fresh, mildly sweet, and incredibly easy on the stomach. It tasted like something made at home, not in a commercial kitchen.
The hospitality was sincere and thoughtful—the owners truly connect with each guest. We also tried the Veg Momos—while the momo itself was okay, the dipping sauce was absolutely amazing.
Only downside was the restroom—it could use a refresh—but otherwise a memorable, nourishing, and beautifully authentic experience. Will definitely return!

Himalayan Sherpa Kitchen, a small and cozy Nepalese place, is an excellent option for lunch or dinner. Seeing an Indian restaurant in the description initially scared me as I thought it could be too spicy, but the food was excellent and perfectly seasoned. Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Momo were great. The service was very welcoming. I definitely recommend this place.
We recently dined at Himalaya Sherpa in Napa and had a good experience. The food is outstanding—hands down the best garlic basil naan I’ve ever had in the U.S. It was perfectly baked and packed with flavor. The chicken tikka masala was rich, buttery, and delicious. We also tried the kukhura ra bhanta, which was a bit on the salty side, but still flavorful. The momos were fresh, juicy, and a good example of authentic Nepalese cuisine. You can really tell this is a true Nepalese restaurant, not just another Indian place with similar dishes. The service was also warm and welcoming—the servers were attentive. Worth a visit if you’re in Napa!
We’ve been coming here for two years and loved Sherpa until the last six months. The food has become bland/inconsistent in flavor levels (especially the tandoori) and the older male server has a very rude and brusque attitude. We’re sad because this was our favorite restaurant in St. Helena - it used to be so lovely.
Lovely find....delicious food and wonderful service. We'll be back! Variety of spice and heat available.😋
Everything is great about this restaurant. The quality of their food is unbeatable. Top notch customer service

The food was good and flavorful and the service was great. The waitress answered any questions and advised of item on the menu. Keep in mind that it closes from 245pm to 5pm.
Vegetarian options: There are options that have vegetarian Mark's on the menu and the servers are super sweet that can recommend dishes.
Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult since it's on the main street. But there is a parking across the street for sunshine that can be used l.

We don’t usually write reviews but had to for this one. We were there a couple of days ago with our two kids. Our kids loved the momos ,naans and the shrimp dish. You can pick the spice level from 1 to 10, 10 being the spiciest. The food we ordered were all fresh and delicious and wasn’t oily. This is one of the best restaurants that serve Nepali/Indian cuisine so far we’ve tried.
Highly recommend this place.
