Nice find in St Helena. Combination of Indian and Nepal food. The tandoori and chicken tikka masala are very good. The dumplings has different seasonings so it is different than the othe dumplings. Nice friendly staff, you should call for reservation if you have a big group.

This is a good escape place. If you do not want the buzz and a crowed of one of a "proper" Napa Valley iconic restaurants, Sherpa provides just that. A small place, staff is friendly, service is fast, food is good. They have a surprisingly good wine list, you will not find Beringer, Caymas or Venge on the list, but they have a few good wines from Knights and Alexander's Valleys. Lamb in curry, mixed sizzling plate, tikka masala - always a safe choice. Place is located in the heart of St. Helena, easy to get to. Best part - you will pay "regular" price for a good food, what is rather unusual for St. Helena :)

Stopped in for a quick bite and enjoyed all of it. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, service is pleasant and efficient, and the food is delicious and fairly priced for a great value - so very rare these days.They are also open throughout the day which makes it super convenient and accessible for customers. The menu has a great selection and - having eaten here before - whatever you get will be perfectly tasty and satisfying.

This place is a real treat!Interesting menu, delicious flavours and friendly service.We shared one of the mixed tandoori platters and found that with rice and a side dish this was plenty of food for two people.The dumpling starters (momo?) were delicious!

Amazing food and short wait time. Butter chicken is delicious and the mango lassi is silky smooth. Prices are very reasonable for such good food. Comfortable chairs and has a few tv's. Definitely coming back soon!

We had lunch at the Himalayan Sherpa Kitchen on the day of Christmas. Not many restaurants were open that day and the expected rush of customers was evident.The staff was efficiently dealing with the situation and we didn't mind the slight delay in getting our order execution.The location on the main road is good and one should feel lucky if road side parking is available.

Seeking comfort from the rain, we were greeted warmly and treated to an exquisite Indian feast. The Nepali Momo, Chicken Curry, and Tandoori Chicken with Naan were divine, each dish bursting with authentic flavors. The attentive service added a personal touch, making us feel cherished. Kudos to the chefs and the hospitable staff for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for those craving exceptional Indian cuisine and impeccable service.

Disappointing Experience at Himalayan Sherpa RestaurantI recently dined at Himalayan Sherpa restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The highlight of the evening was marred by an incident involving a billing error and the subsequent mistreatment by the server.Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed an incorrect 18% fee added to our total. Politely bringing this to the server's attention should have resulted in a simple correction. However, the response I received was not only unprofessional but downright abusive. The server's rude behavior left me shocked and disappointed.To be told, "You are never welcome here," is not only disheartening but completely uncalled for, especially considering it was their mistake in the first place. The ambiance and food quality were overshadowed by this regrettable encounter, leaving a lasting negative impression on what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as such behavior is unacceptable in any establishment. I share this review in the hope that it contributes to improvements and ensures a more positive experience for future patrons.

I went with my family of 4 for lunch and got a table for 4. When the bill arrived they charged us extra 18% for party of 6+. When we told the server that they have incorrectly charged us, the server started abusing and trash talking with us. They humiliated us even though when they clearly made a mistake. Worst experience. The food wasn’t that great and the service was horrible. Would highly recommend to not go to this restaurant. They have a history of charging more to customers and belittling them.

Terrible restaurant the server was so rude and insulted us. We were a party of 4 and she wanted to charge us 18% extra saying we are a party of more than 6+. I denied and clarified with her co worker that we were 4 people. One was of the server started yelling and insulting. She said you are not invited and started abusing. The owner of the restaurant really needs to take strict action on such useless, rude, shameless and ill mannered staff. Never visiting this place.
