Had the most incredible experience. The owner, Susanna was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain every pour along with the history of the vineyard. The place is dog friendly and even has a cute pup named Al pastor that will say hi. The outdoor tasting area along with views into the gardens were splendid, pares with great wine made this a 10/10 experience.

We had an amazing tasting. It was made even more special by our hostess, Susanna. She made us feel welcome and taught us about the local history and vineyard culture. The estate was beautiful. You could not pick a better vineyard.

We loved Kelham! Susanna (mom) and Hamilton (son) were so friendly and courteous. The merlot and blue cheese were amazing! You get a great meat and cheese plate with your tasting, and you get to taste some vintage wines. The grounds were beautiful! You will get the opportunity to meet Al Pastor (the dog), and he is great!! We had an unbelievable time!

Kelham is an absolute gem, from the owner to the private grounds and the atmosphere. My only regret is that I hadn’t visited 5-years ago on my first trip to Napa Valley. I have celiac disease and we had corresponded directly with the owner who was very understanding and made sure I was safe during my visit. Now let’s cover the most important aspect of the visit, the wines… they are beyond superb (definitely an understatement). The tasting is generous, the wine club is priced fairly, and it is clear that Kelham has perfected their craft over years. It is worth mentioning that each of the wines were in the mid 2000 range in terms of age. My favorite vineyards were dethroned by this visit to Kelham. Should you choose to schedule a tasting (which you absolutely should), clear the remainder of your day to move slowly through each wine while allowing yourself ample time appreciate the beautiful gated private grounds. We had a party of 5 and of the 10 different boutique/smaller vineyards we visited, Kelham was the only vineyard where we all had elected to join the wine club. Keep in mind, there is no distribution in place….. This will be your ONLY opportunity to continue to enjoy these wines beyond your trip. No distribution is a brilliant move to provide exclusivity and exceptional pricing, and once you try any of the wines, you will quickly understand how word-of-mouth has been/will be powerful enough to sustain this vineyard.

First, the drive from entry gate to parking down a long lane lined by mature trees sets the stage. The covered outdoor seating with marble & slate and the grounds and tasting building are gorgeous. Excellent service, oftentimes by the owners. Specialize in serving well-aged wines Cab Sauv, Merlot, Petite Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and much more. Skipped a restaurant lunch and enjoyed the charcuterie plate with wine pairings, delicious!

Fabulous winery! Truly delicious wine and beautiful setting and vistas. Susanna, the owner and hostess, is wonderful, and you will most certainly have a great time here. Thank you!
